Expat Housing

I was honestly impressed about how easy it is to rent a house with Expat Housing. They helped me all the way from the beginning with all the informations that i've requested and they actively helped me with all issues i had until now.
I recommend them for finding a good rental place in Netherlands.

I'm writing this review to recognize Gé Muhring for his responsiveness, professionalism, and kindness. He was very helpful and considerate during our viewing. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and saw all of our options while searching for a home. Thank you Ge!!!!

its not easy to find a place to rent at Den Haag.

I wanted to share my experience with Expat Housing, which failed to return my deposit, leading me to involve a lawyer. Consider avoiding this company to prevent similar troubles.
Scammers!

Do not use this company.

They claimed to know and have dealt with my last tenant and recommended him. They sang his praises.

The tenant got 6 month's rent free after paying for 6 months.

I got a destroyed washing machine, tumble dryer, bed, cooker and kitchen sink, damaged (newly lacquered) floors and lawyers and bailiffs bills.

I couldn't get back due to Covid.
It was all very stressful.

I can back this up with court case number and condition reports.

Very bad experiences with this agency after renting out our fully furnished house to an expat couple. After two years abroad, we returned to a completely trashed house, from the yards to the kitchen to the attick. Afterwards, expat housing was unwilling to help us out: when it became obvious that we were serious in wanting compensation of the thousands of euros of damages, expat house became unresponsive and left us hanging in every sense of the word. Still to this date, no compensation, no apologies, no word from the responsible party. We truly are very disappointed in the quality of the services they offered and in the numerous promises they broke. We would absolutely NOT recommend this agency to anyone who is planning to rent out their property to expats. If we could give less than one star, we definitely would.

Have had to instruct an incasso lawyer to collect the deposit and rent for two months from these people.
Emails went unanswered, phone calls not returned. Caused me a whole load of hassle and money.

I would give 0 Stars!!!

For more than two month I've moved out back to Germany and since then they still owe me money!! For the Deposit and also for parts of gas, electricity and water!! And because I do not live anymore in the appartement and in the country they don't call me back.

They didnt provide the flat I signed for and then simply kept the first installment I had paid them already. 1800 euro. Had to get a lawyer. AVOID AT ALL COST
