I came to Orthomedix with terrible debilitating pain in neck and shoulder. They had a good idea it was a herniated disk and did treatments accordingly. Despite waiting too long to see a PT, and after thoroughly examining me and listening carefully to my ailments, they were able to fix me after a had luck of visits. They also wanted to know how I hold my body and see pics of my chairs, so they can basically tell me how to edit my habits to prevent repeating the injury and further my health.
They are very knowledgeable, genuinely caring and thoughtful in their plans.

I am always a bit unsure if physio helps for some ailments.. well, wrong for sure because Tommy at orthomedix is a magician. I had a bad IT band inflammation from cycling and was beginning to panic about having a chronic problem. Could. It even easily cycle to jumbo and back! My dr recommended Tommy. What a result! The first session was like an episode of “House”… the knee is the issue but the cause is x, y, z … you just have to trust him. 6 weeks later I am cycling 100km at weekends and going hard. No issue. The man is a magician. Never going anywhere else.

In 2019 I suffered from a bad shoulder injury (both left and right) and I was not able to lift/rotate my arms/shoulders without experiencing pain. Throughout the years I had seen a couple of different physiotherapists without any success. As of mid-2021 I went to Orthomedix (Mr. Tommy Jessurun), and the main difference what set Mr. Jessurun and his practice apart from other practices is that they do not provide (recovery) advise without proper diagnosis.

The diagnosis was provided by another clinic, this includes my medical file, which contains my shoulder ultrasounds, MRI scans, shoulder measurement test etc. Orthomedix wants to know the absolute root of the problem before acting on it.

Furthermore, they are very secure when it comes to the human musculoskeletal system. Even though, I suffer a shoulder injury, they make sure that my musculoskeletal system is working correctly. This include checking the joints of my neck, spine etc. and the use of cracking the joints if needed.

Currently I’m still recovering, however with the correct knowledge provided by Orthomedix, I’m already experiencing signs of recovery. Since I’m able to lift/rotate my arms and shoulders without pain.

Perfect service! Very friendly and capable of explaining the diagnosis without jargon which makes it a lot easier to understand what I really had. Very skilled physiotherapists and trainees. Hygiene is very important here and the rules are adhered to the fullest!
