Museum Vliegbasis Deelen

Excellent smallish museum. Lots of interesting exhibits from the nearby base and local area. Staff very friendly and helpful . Would recommend to anyone with an interest in aviation and WW2 history. Relatively quiet when I visited but started to pick up as I was leaving.

Altough quite small, this museum is run by the most enthusiastic volonteers and packs a lot of information about locally excavated artifacts. We arrived before opening hours but the hosts did not hestitate to let us in and give us private tours all around the museum, explaining the exibits and the fascinating history behind them.

A very interesting museum with a lot of original parts from Luftwaffe and RAF. The story told be very engaged guides. A must to visit when you are close to Arnhem

Great experience, had a lot of fun seeing what was used during the war. Learned a lot and some touching stories about the fallen soldiers.

A good little mustum. Well worth a visit if in the arnhem ares. Only open on weekends.

Schönes Museum, alles top beschriftet vieles in niederländisch, aber auch in englisch. Visuell gibt es 3 TV mit Filmen. Das Museum hat sich auf die Luftwaffe spezialisiert, deutsche, britische, amerikanische und zum Schluss des Besuchs auch aktuelle niederländische Luftwaffe. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und sprechen auch deutsch. Eintrittspreis 8€ ist wirklich günstig und jeden Cent wert, Fotos zu Privatzwecken sind erlaubt.

Een prachtig museum gewijd aan vliegveld Deelen. Met name de periode tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog krijgt veel aandacht. Leerzaam voor jong en oud. De gidsen zijn zeer gemotiveerd en zijn bereid al je vragen te beantwoorden.

Museum met collectie over de geschiedenis van vliegbasis Deelen, met voornamelijk aandacht voor de luchtoorlog tijdens WOII. Er is veel zorg besteed aan het museum en vrijwilligers vertellen enthousiast en bijzonder uitgebreid de verhalen met veel interessante informatie. Gemoedelijk en zeer gastvrij, een verrassend museum!

Prachtig museum, mooie wapen collectie. Prachtig opgebouwd museum met 100-en1 verhalen. Elk jaar met de herdenking vaste prik om met een bezoek te vereren.

Een grote groep vrijwilligers onderhoud dit museum dat zich geheel richt op de geschiedenis van het vliegveld Deelen. De collectie is bijzonder. Een bezoek hoef je voor de toegangsprijs niet te laten. Helaas is de MJK niet geldig

Zeer gastvrije vrijwilligers...bedankt voor de leuke middag (bustour gedaan) indrukwekkende geschiedenis van Fliegerhorst Deelen. Hoe groot het terrein wel niet was en is. Ook fijn dat buiten terrein ook nog veel gebouwen bewaard en te bezichtigen zijn!
