Beautiful museum with a bunch of nice art pieces. Especially the Van Gogh collection is very impressive and contains many well-known pieces. The outside area is very nice on a sunny day! There are free lockers and the staff was very friendly.

Very nice park for bicycle rides - amazing views, forests and places to stop.
The museum offers a nice collection of modern art and one of the most complete collections of Van Gogh drawings in the world. Impressive architecture of the pavilions in the park also.

A must visit museum if you are a big fan of Vincent Van Gogh. The painting collections are brilliant and beautiful garden surrounding the building is fantastic as well.

Please bear in mind that you need to pay the entrance fee for the national park together with the entrance ticket to the museum.

One of the perfect museums where it is possible to recognize Van Gogh world known paintings, one of the biggest collections in Netherlands. Great monuments outside , including moving artworks. Strictly recommended. Outside after visiting the museum itself you have the free of charge white bikes to ride in the park.

One of my favorite museums in the Netherlands, not because it has the largest collection of van Gogh but because it’s surrounded by the nature. Has one of the most refreshing entrance hallways of all museums. I recommend visiting multiple times with gaps in between, and the farmer’s salad at the restaurant-cafe. If you explore the sculture garden with either a child-like curiosity or a statistician’s obsession, you will find dozens of gems by both uperstars like Rodin and less-known creators. You have to pay €12.5/person and €9/car to enter the Veluwe national park, even if you’re just going for Kröller-Müller and can enter the museum for free with the museumkaart.

This museum is off in the cut. From Amsterdam, it takes over an hour, so plan accordingly. You'll need the whole day to get there and then back. It's set inside the De Hoge Veluwe National Park. You'll need tickets to both the park and the museum. Get to the park early, to explore if you love nature. The Kröller-Müllers were art collectors in the late 1800s and 1900s. They were affluent German art collectors searching for the most important art they could find. She becomes the second largest Van Gogh collector in the world and remains so to this day with 90 paintings and 180 scetches and drawlings. Vincent is the center of her collection, and she believed he was superior to all other artists. While her enormous home is now a museum, and the yard is a sculpture garden surrounded by the national park, she holds works from Picasso, George Seurat, and his followers, Gauguin, and many, many more. She was brilliant and she is a hero of mine. She and Johanna Bonger-Van Gogh are the reason Vincent became famous and who we know today as the Dutch master post impressionist. You're a real Van Gogh fan if you know of Helene Kröller-Müller. I recommend this museum to all.

First time I went to a type of museum like this. It is like outdoor indoor house museum... Very vast beautiful garden with many unique statues embedded with several hills and a stair to heaven, also a modern house-like museum with famous paintings (majority is van gogh and his quotes, but others are also unique and cool). I recommend you travel indoor first, then come out at the garden (but check the weather and use your waterproof boot and windproof jacket), then exit at the rear (if you dont put any belongings at the lobby) so you can immediately enter other (free) museum very nearby to that exit.

This Museum is one of my absolute favourites in NL! definitely in combination with exploring the park - especially in summer time by bike. Best collection of Van Gogh if you ask me… Brightest of his works. Do visit the Jachthuis as well - one needs to book a separate tkt for that online beforehand. It’s beautiful!

A museum deserving 10 stars out of the maximum 5 allowed. A great collection of impressionists but highlights are of course the works and life story of young Vincent painting potato eaters in Holland and then older Vincent in Paris, Arles and his last most productive period when being treated in an Asylum. A breathtaking collection.

One of the most beautiful museums I have been to so far. Amazing sculpture garden with a stunning Rhodin , nice architecture of the overall building and a truly stunning painting collection. Besides all the Van Goghs they have quite an assortement of Odilon Redon , those paintings left me deeply sad to leave the place , I would like to look at them every day. If you get the chance , go there! Also the staff and the restaurant are amazing! Kudos!

The second largest collection of Van Gogh paintings are nestled in this park. Please be aware that you will have to pay for the park entrance and the museum entrance. We paid for parking at the entrance of the park and then used the free bikes to go to the museum. It's about a 15 minute ride but the park is beautiful. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that they don't have on display all the works of Van Gogh they own. Only about half of the paintings are on display and a couple drawings only. None of the letters they have are available for viewing. They do have some major works of Van Gogh and I can't wait to go back.

Amazing works of art by Van Gogh, Piet Mondrian, Georges Seurat and others. Not crowded. A gem of an art gallery in the middle of a park.

If like art go. If you love art, take the next plane, train, automatic, skateboard etc and go now. It was really interesting to see the progression of Van Gogh’s work.

Extraordinary collection of art includes the second in the world collection of Van Gogh paintings.
Don’t miss the collection of sculptures placed in the museum garden. Rodin, Moore, Fabre and many others.

Fantastic museum in a beautiful national park with wild animals. The collection is varied and covers many time periods, with a main focus on Impressionist art, Van Gogh and the art of the 20th century. The garden with sculptures is also amazing

Probably one of the best collections out there. The joy of watching great art up close is priceless (hmm). I do wish it was housed in an equally beautiful architectural space.

That said, ideally you need three days to go through the art inside and in the outdoors.

The tickets, food and pretty much everything here is super pricey and takes it out of reach of a lot of people. The entrance to the park and the parking charges add up to this.

The cycle trails are fun and the landscape beautifully Dutch.

It's a beautiful museum and a must visit if you are a Van Gogh fan as it holds the second largest collection of his paintings. It's located though in a national park therefore have in mind that you will have to pay for the entrance to the park as well, which is around 11€ (adults) per person. After that, if you are not visiting with your car you can take one of the bikes to ride inside the park to the museum or even leave your car and take the bike. You get a unique experience here since you get the chance to see incredible pieces of art while enjoying the beauty of nature.
