XL AH St. Jacobslaan

A great supermarket with a wide range of food, toiletries and some household items. They also have a restaurant where you can have lunch, a chemist, a newsagent and you can purchase flowers here too. Close to bus line 6 and also has a large parking place. There are a few other useful shops in the direct vicinity.

Great supermarket. Pleasant shopping experience due to the wide aisles and amazing amount of choice. Self-scanning feature is the best for undisturbed shopping. I used to come here for 40 minute leisure time pre-covid era, just strolling and looking at all the sales.

This is one of my favourite supermarkets in our area. They have the best selection for vegan goodies. They have huge parking space and what I like about this place is that there are other essential shops next to it too. Blokker, kruidvat and other essential shops are just next door.

My favourite supermarket in Netherlands. And for me it's the best. I was in Nijmegen, Netherlands for 5 years for my PhD. I used to go Albert Heijn XL in St. jacobslaan. There was mini AH but St. JACOBSLAAN WAS the one I always preferred. I knew exactly where what was kept. Very well maintained and all best quality products. I still can't forget the different types of bread spreading. Greek Yogurt, Pizza (at offer price). Variety of bread.. cheese oh my god. Those awesome days... On the first floor there was blookker and ground floor fall n gall the famous wine store. One good thing I liked in AH that they used to give part time job to students. Thats really great thing from AH side..the students can be independent. I really liked that culture of students working part-time.

The best AH in Nijmegen. Every week for years we are there. Big shopping is always in this one. You can find all you need. You can find bread, vegetables, gluten free product, all you need. I think we left all our money (for food) there :D just keep going. :)))

The ultimate supermarket in Nijmegen. Part of a small shopping center containing several stores. The Albert Heijn XL stocks virtually everything you could wish for in a supermarket. Great place for groceries. Gives the option to self-checkout, and contains several areas to get sushi and specialty meats. Ample free parking outside. Open until 22.00 on weeknights.

Oke can we just talk about there plants collection ! Unique nice plants with good prices and a new collection every couple of weeks , really nice , also the happy hour thing is really cool, go between 7 and 10 ,before you are going to your work , pass by and get a good big hot coffee for 1 euro , love this place , keep the good vibe ! It's big. Fresh goods. Sells sushi. Has confectionery section. Various salads and meals ready to take away. Fresh orange juice machine. Wheelchair accessible. Kids play area. Pant machine. Rest benches for elderly and tired.

Not the best place I've ever eaten... Very few tables available. They only serve a "grab it yourself" buffet. All the drinks are served out of the bottle. A lot of the food is still raw and staff seems more occupied with getting you to pay than serving you any food... Recommend the bread rolls and cold cuts though.

Great place, specially after recent renovation. Diverse groceries and eatables under one roof.
New pizza and pasta restaurant is awesome...

In the Albert XXL you will find everything you need for your purchase, wonderful place with rest area and parking ... Very Ben recommended treatment

Perfect experience. Choice of products such as cheese, sushi, halal, beverages etc. is breathtaking. Prices are not really friendly but it's worth of every cent.

Best grocery store I've been to. They have everything I looked for. Never had to change dinner plans because they didn't sell what I wanted.

Excellent super market! Big variety of all types of food products. Staff is always helpful, lost of parking places for bikes and cars.

This appie is huge! Clean, friendly, with everything you could want food wise. My missus went nuts when she saw the blond Amsterdam on sale as well...
