Deze voormalige zand- en grindgroeve in het dal van de Eyserbeek is van groot belang voor libellen en amfibieën. Hier groeien onder meer boerenwormkruid, stalkaars en teunisbloem. In de groeve zit een roekenkolonie en huist de buizerd. Kortom een top natuurgebied non touristy en dus veel rust. Groeve zelf: Verboden toegang ( keep it that way), 2 foto's (in groeve) genomen met mini drone.

Toegangs hek was op slot waardoor het niet mogelijk was de groeve te bezoeken.
