Van der Valk Hotel Heerlen

The rooms were extremely spacious and very modern. The included swimming pool was also fantastic. Breakfast was average other Van der Valk Hotels do better. Dinner was good and the food was served very quickly.

Very nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere! Completely remodeled after a fire some years ago and it looks stunning! Large outdoor seating area and plenty of space inside as well, with lovely lit booths. Not a huge menu but plenty of options for everyone. Staff was very friendly and easily accommodated our group of 14. I'd definitely recommend!

Only came to drink something whilst using the supercharger. Very friendly staff, great location.

This hotel underwent multi million dollar renovation. Rooms are beautiful, mine was very roomy, a regular double. Bathroom was also very roomy. I couldn't get the AC in my room to actually cool down -- it blew air around. Maybe ask at front desk BEFORE you get to room how to turn on. The wellness spa for 20 euro( 5 different types of sauna including ice flakes falling from ceiling and a fragrant split wood log paneled sauna) was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Men and women go at same time. The man who was there at same time as me did not wear towels while walking between the sauna rooms. The steam room was not working when I was there--- so if you like that, ask specifically if it's operating. I would gladly go to this sauna spa experience again. 👍

Lovely Hotel. Spent 1 night there after seeing Andre Rieu in Maastricht. The only complaint was the bathroom. After having a shower we noticed that the water came out into the bedroom as there was no step to stop it coming out. Food was very good.

Stayed here in May with the arrangement package. It was pretty an off peak period and the hotel facilities were not crowded.
The appetizers for the arrangement package was really good, especially the Poke Bowl with nori tempura! Happy to pick the caramel desserts to close the meals. Most of the dishes are beautifully presented and I was amazed. However only 1 thing, I felt the hoofdgerecht dishes can be much improved, there were no wow factor - very simple seasoning. It just didnt hit quite the spot. But don't let it stop you from taking the package, because its really worth it!

Breakfast wise was very generous with wide spread of charcuterie, pancakes, and drinks. Wished I could eat more that day!

Room was also very clean and we had the room facing the greenery so that's a plus point. Service wise, receptionist were very friendly and are always smiling. Would definitely come here again for a relaxing wellness holiday again!

We booked a suite for the weekend and the stay was lovely, definitely recommend the Be Relaxed Suite.

We went there for Air Force ball. The food for breakfast was outstanding! The bed was good to sleep in. The shower was amazing amazing for couples to be together. The staff was really helpful/ speak well English. Pool was good/ although we didn’t swim. The gym was awesome. Everything perfect. Great for kids.

Great food in a nice a relaxed atmosphere!

It's one of the best Hotels in the Heerlen / Brunssum area.
Aside from that, the rooms are big, very comfortable and well designed. Love the showers!
The restaurant is really good, with a wide variety of dishes (ok, the wine list could use a bit of work 😁).
The breakfast is also very, very good.
Highly recommended for business stays, especially.

Awesome stay. Staff helped us with parking (trucks).

Located close to the highway with easy parking. I didn't stay overnight, we only went for a drink and some food on a sunny day. The service was outstanding thanks to our waitress Milena. Prices for the food and drinks are on par with other hotels. Ordered a Tournedos a point and it was perfect. Compliments for the chef. Good job all!

Nice lunch, nice and friendly staff.

Really friendly staff. Breakfast had lots of options and the bar was reasonably priced. The bed was comfy, although the pillow was a bit too thick for my tatse. The bathrooms have plenty of space in the shower and everything was super clean. I wasn't able to take advantage of the pool, but I'm sure it was great based on the rest of the hotel. I'd recommend to anyone.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and a clean well organized hotel - the rooms are spacious, the balcony with a view is a great bonus!

I’ve been here a couple of times before and as always this a great Hotel, it has an awesome pool and a nice gym. The restaurant is amazing and the food is superb. Babs and Jente welcomed me with a big smile, and of course they are beautiful; they were very professional and had a great attitude. Just a nice atmosphere as you walk in.
