Van der Valk Hotel Volendam

Unfortunately I've not been able to enjoy the stay in this hotel because I got sick just before the trip.
Nevertheless I give 5 stars for the very kind and helpful cancellation policy.
I hope I'll definitely be able to enjoy a stay there.

Nice restaurant near the lovely place Volendam. We had to stop here because of the bad weather. Not disappointed. We enjoyed a delicious meal. Grilled char and cuisson were perfect for the steak and the pork loin. One of the grilled pieces of chicken was a bit small, therefore the meat became very dry.

Excellent hotel with a very attentive service.

Breakfast and dining area has just been renovated, the new space is stylish and spacious with a beautiful terrace.

The place is under renovation, yet it is quiet and relaxing. The rooms are very big, nice bath and shower, air conditioning and Nespresso machine!

Highly recommend for the value for money!

We have stayed 3 days 2 nights, we had 2 times breakfast and dinner there. The hotel room itself so nice, feels like home, got cleaned everyday, the staff are super nice and friendly,
Food are amazing with a reasonable price, the hotel is in the middle of green area, they even has their own bus stop! Reachable with public transportation, 2 bus stop from Volendam centrum and 20 minutes away from Amsterdam central.

I strongly recommend you to stay there.
The place is quiet and very beautiful. The hotel has an absolutely high standard of service. Rooms are perfect. The reception was very pleasant and qualified and always ready to help. I really liked the restaurant, food and drinks.
It is the best choice for those who want to explore Old Holland. You can hire a bicycle in the hotel and go to Volendam, Edam or even Marken. And you can also go to Amsterdam at any time, just catch the bus and you will arrive in the city for about 30 minutes.

The hotel is excellent with all the amenities. The rooms were clean, food really good and the staff really friendly. The location of the hotel is around 4kms from Volendam Centrum. You can rent bikes and cycle all the way to Volendam Centrum. The ride and the countryside is just beautiful :)

Wonderful hotel. We come every year. Rooms are great. Facilities are excellent. Restaurant is superb but a little pricey. Lots of car parking space and easy to get to other near by towns by car or public transport.

Brought a large school group here which definitely tested their organization and hospitality - both surpassed my standards. Nice clean hotel with friendly and professional service. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Stay 2nites on 16-18.05.2018 : Nice n very clean hotel with spacious parking area. The breakfast is superb. Has indoor pool. Just half an hour driving from Amsterdam.

Excellent service, brilliant location and very easy to get to, from the airport take a train to the centre, from there take the 316 bus and it goes to a stop outside the hotel. Takes roughly 20min on bus. Plenty areas to visit near the hotel and the city center is not far at all.

Clean, organised and helpful staff. Only a short bus ride into Amsterdam Central station, and next to a clog and cheese museum! What more could you want from a hotel in the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Very nice place. Room we got was spacious and clean. The breakfast is superb!! Very close to downtown amsterdam just one bus ride which is in front of the hotel. Very nice staff

My family and I had a celebration at this venue. It was well organised. The food was great, the waiters were really nice. We had a good time.

We spent 3 nights and it was just perfect! The place was so lovely and the breakfast delicious. They deserve 5 stars!

Stayed here for the weekend from the 12th to 14th Jan 2018. Nice hotel with helpful staff. Restaurant does some amazing dishes, and the breakfast can't be faulted. Overall experience was amazing...Would I come back? Definetely a yes from me.......

Love the friendly employees. The bar is open til one and I LOVE hanging out in their patio. Many different people hang out out there from all let and it's jjtmst such an amazing plkace to meet new people.
