The cheese here was phenomenal! We got to see a demonstration on how the cheese and wooden shoes are made which was interesting. Little shop to get all the souvenir essentials.

It was such a nice tour, which included a history lesson on making cheese and wooden shoes. The hosts were great and very funny throughout the presentation. In the end, there was plenty of cheese sampling and shops to buy gifts or souvenirs.

We visited in April of 2023, on a group tour. They had a great show on how the cheese is made, with an wonderful host, who was very entertaining! We had a cheese tasting of all the different flavors that they make. Delicious! 😋 We then moved onto the clog making tour. One of the demonstrations was on how they make the clogs, that they wear & sell. It was interesting to see the method, that they use to create the clogs & to find out why they wear them in their country. We had a chance to browse their gift shop, buy some trinkets, that they personalized & see their display of clogs, throughout the ages. If you wanted, you could buy some clogs of your own. Before we left, we walked around the village that they were a part of, which was just picturesque. We loved the tour!! We would recommend this tour, when you are in the Netherlands, it won’t disappoint! 😁❤🌷🧀🇳🇱

Great place to learn about Dutch cheese and wooden shoes. Great shop, as well. Some might say it is tourist-ey, but I say it's perfected to present information for tourists. You get a polished presentation on cheese and shoes. Very worth watching! I'm also regretting not buying some of those wooden shoes. They were surprisingly comfortable with good arch support. The cheese tasting was everyone's favorite. The staff was knowledgeable and fun. We had a great time with 3 generations of family.

Excellent private tour in English to learn the steps of making cheese, and a demonstration of making wooden shoes. Cheese tasting with so many choices, and we bought a few! Thanks for the tour, Leo!

This was an interesting place to learn about two popular Dutch staples. Wooden shoes and cheese. They had demonstrations and explanations of both shoe making and cheese making. And there were plenty of free samples of the food they make, after the demonstrations. Lots of chances to buy food and other souvenirs.

Great fun little demo of their cheese and clog making process. Attendance was included alongside our coach tour so certainly good value for money with all the cheese tasters. Family we're super friendly and funny and there was loads of choice for souvenirs to take home in the store.

What a wonderful place, and run by happy enthusiastic people. A great lesson on cheese and clog making before seeing the shop was very enjoyable. The cheese is out of this world and a must for any true fan. Personal favourite was the truffle, we had to buy some.

The staff were amazing, so informative and the demonstrations were fun, the clog maker gave a brief description of how clogs were made and why they were invented. Then there was the cheese tasting absolutely delicious 35 flavours how to choose what to buy I'll leave that decision to you.

All the recommendations for visiting, although I bought all the types of cheese they offer, I found them in the center of Amsterdam at a much lower price.

I'm not a big fan of cheese. Then I tried theirs and wow! 🤯
It's not only the flavor or quality what makes it a must-see shop/attraction when traveling there, but their warm and welcoming people 🥰

Love this place! I originally stopped on a viator 3 years ago. But just took my family back yesterday. You can just shoe up and they offer free tours, explain their cheesemaking process & show you how wooden shoes are carved. You then get sample cheese, wine and cookies. After which you can buy whatever you fancy from the shop. We managed to come between groups so we received personal tour and tasting for the four of us. Highly recommend.
