Thais Restaurant Sabai-Sabai

The food was delicious! I chose a spicy Thai dish with stir-fried pork and vegetables. My girlfriend chose the vegetarian dish. We got a very large bowl of white rice as well. Our drink was a jug of water with lemon for 1 €. The service was very professional and also very friendly. The best Thai of Leiden! Highly recommended.

Having lived in the San Francisco bay area for more than a decade, I'm familiar with good Thai cuisine for the world market.

Having also lived in places like Boston, I know what bad Thai food tastes like.

I was surprised by the quality here. The dishes were fresh, appealingly presented, and used good quality ingredients. Taste was excellent and not cloyingly sweet the way (bad) Thai restaurants can be.

My only complaint is that the default spice level is fairly low... But I assume that reflects the preferences of the area. If you like something hotter be sure to request it.

Wait stay were friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Prices are reasonable: Three dishes, three alcoholic drinks for about 60 Euros.

Best Thai place in Leiden, satisfies every craving if you miss real Thai food. Nothing excessively oily, great level of spice, curry with tons of meat and vegetables, just wish they'd deliver but worth coming to collect.

I am a regular here. It is my personal favorite Thai restaurant in town (I have tried most, if not all Thai places in Leiden). The food is consistently very good. Service is less consistent, but still good. Waiting times are usually pleasantly short, but somewhat long on busier days. Servers are friendly.

Being a regular at this place is great. They can always squeeze you in even on a friday night. Cosy and authentic atmosphere with pleasant service and home cooked cuisine. Just outside the historic centre of Leiden so you can take a walk after an ample meal. Moderate prices but entirely justifiable. Well worth a visit, if you've been before you'll already be sold.
Dining al fresco is also possible here.

Great Thai food restaurant. Have tried many dishes with shrimps, pork, beef, vegetarian or chicken, all very tasty and good. Portions are big, you get very full. The mango juice is awesome, try it! Had a dinner with colleagues during a conference and they all loved it, except for one who did not like sweet-ish food (tricky with Thai then)!

I was not able to give more then 5 stars, otherwise I would have given them. The service and food is was so good. They serve big portions of high quality food. I will definitely visit this place again!

One of my favourite Thai places in the Netherlands. Authentic and super delicious. My favourite is the fish curry - I still think about it sometimes!

Fantastic food! I moved to the Netherlands after staying in Thailand for a year. Have not tasted better Thai food abroad. Great service too, always very kind and hospitable staff!

Huge menu but if you ask for something different it’s all possible.

The best thai food in town. Super friendly staff bug you need to reserve the table because they're always busy. You should try their Pad Thai. I can eat this menu everyday from them.

Excellent Thai restaurant, a stable staple in the neighborhood for many years, consistently serving excellent Thai food in a casual atmosphere. I'm not crazy about their fish, but all the rest is fantastic.

Some of the best Thai food, absolutely delicious and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere - Thai culture and decorations in a monumental Dutch (Leidsch) building. Would recommend.
