Van der Werf Park

The park is full of ancient trees and is quite and cosy. You can do whatever you want there: have a rest, do a picnic, or just read a book. it's one of my preferred places in Leiden.

Cute park. Weeping willow whose leaves touch the canal water. Good place to read and have a beer

A very nice and relaxing park. However do be warned! There are a lot of dogs there. If you don't like dogs or have small kids, you might wanna avoid this place.

Nice place for a picknick. Especially if you like watching dogs.

Situated just across the Kamerlingh Onnes building (the Faculty of Law, Universitair of Leiden).

The park is amazingly pretty and historical. Around the park several information boards are placed to remember the fire incident during the war.

The river streams along the park, make it even more lovely in the summer where visitors can just sit or lying on the grass enjoying the serenity.

Lovely park in Leiden. Lots of people sit and hang out on the banks of the canal. There are always some homeless people there during the day though

A favorite destination to visit with my dog. Walk along the canal, take in some history, overlooking the Law School. It's a quick walk from the city center.
