Best pub in leiden, amazing barkeeper lets you change the music if you have a good suggestion. The locals are very friendly and talkative. A great and rotating selection of special beers. They also have a fair selection of spirits and distilled drinks, which is very nice. On important matchdays they will show sports like football. Out of every pub I've visited in Leiden, I find myself coming back here every week. I've been coming here for many years and it's still the best pub in Leiden

Absolutely wild on the weekends, and I love it. People of all stripes, students, local seniors, tourists, all are welcome. They have seating outside too if you're claustrophobic as it gets packed inside by the bar.

I had my first cup of coffee in Leiden on the terrace of this bar 22 years ago. Now it is owned by a friend of mine who has ensured that I can come back and enjoy myself here for years to come. Mostly for beer nowadays, because it is my to go to bar whenever I am back in town. Especially love to go on Saturday after the market closes. When the sun is out the terrace is packed, the beers are cold and the mood is up.

Great small bar with excellent music, bar snacks (from across the road) and an excellent atmosphere. The little owl motifs through the bar and around are a bonus!

Traditional cafe, a lot of different beers and please don't drink the wine! Cosy atmosphere, nice details on the fences in the middle of the cafe! A place to smoke and the toilets are clean.

A really cool little bar - great vibe and excellent beers. Recommend for anyone passing through but looking for somewhere upbeat - it's a big student place.
