A great place near the train station to stop by and eat traditional pancakes. I love the "cheese, bacon and mushrooms" one. The portions are huge.

Great pancakes and a huge portion size. Lots of variety! The menu is overwhelming. The Nutella pancakes come with just a few containers to spread it yourself, but the bacon, cheese, and egg was so good! The decor is really great too, very classical.

A unique experience with giant pancakes 🥞. You should definitely give it a try. The service was also very good.

They don't have vegan options and only dairy milk, which is quite limiting.

I don't know if it's common in the Netherlands but they don't split the bill, so one of our friends had to pay 45€ for everyone, which is so strange for me. Otherwise, top notch!

Great pancakes at low prices. Unlike every other pancake house I have graced with my presence, this one makes savoury pancakes - my favourite - with the contents - cheese, ham, mushrooms - from scratch, so all this yummy stuff is literally 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 in the pancake.

An old style pancake house with a large range of sweet and savoury options. The pancakes are huge! So you won't leave hungry.

Absolutely delicious! The pancakes are gigantic, of all sorts of varieties, both sweet and sour, quality ingredients of strong flavour. Prices of the pancakes vary between 8 and 16 euro based on the toppings but overall prices are more than fair. Other options in the menu include soups, salads and a few mains but if you go there you should not doubt try the pancakes.

Top location right in the heart of Leiden, across from the boat rides. Definitely recommend it!

In my opinion, it stands as the best pancake house in the Netherlands. While I have my personal favorites, it's worth noting that some pancakes surpass others in terms of taste. I recommend taking your time to choose and ask the staff for their recommendations. Solo diner friendly.

Last minute decision to come for pancakes, and that was a great decision! Pancakes were served quickly and very delicious. There's also quite a lot of cheaper pancakes which are still very filling so this is definitely an option if you want a cheaper night out. We paid €55 for 3 pancakes and 6 drinks.

The only pancake restaurant I visit here locally. Authentic, non-touristy, Dutch pancakes like (or better than...) mother makes them.

Ask for a pancake with apple and bacon (spek), cover in syrup, ROLL the pancake, cut in thick slices, and wolf down hot.

The spot is also very convenient to have a meal before going to the train station, or for a start to go out on the town.

Dutch pancakes in an historic building. English menus are available. These pancakes are sugar free (unless you top them with something sweet). Thin and delicious, sweet and savory choices. Very good. Service was reasonably quick. Bathrooms are upstairs.

Absolutely humongous pancakes. We came to Leiden for a day out of cycling through the tulip fields and booked this place to be our brunch to set us up for the day. Our table was booked for 11:30 (their opening time) and the place was empty but this didn't put us off. The staff were very friendly and the building has a lovely traditional Dutch ambience, and it's also massive.

The pancakes were simply enormous and absolutely delicious, with excellent texture and really high quality toppings, though my only complaint would be that they were a little too centered towards the middle and that they only provided one egg.

Everyone will be satisfied with the range of toppings they offer.

Coffee was excellent.

A wonderful experience, I would definitely come here again and I recommend it to couples, people on their own and families (they have a kids menu with pancakes shaped like dinosaurs).

The Most Delicious Pancakes ! one of the best pancakes i've ever eaten. we ordered Mozzarella & Hoongaar pancakes. Both of them were absolutely incredible. The prices are 13,45€ / pancake. Menu has both the sweety and salty pancakes. I strongly recommend the place. By the way, be sure you are at the right place because there is another good pancake store nearby too. 😊 Be careful about the complete bame of the place

Good place to taste the traditional “pancakes”, the menu offers many options and with one of them you are normally full. Tasty food, good service, very nice dishes and for a good price.

Delicious gigantic pancake! Lots of filling, nice soft dough.
Don’t order “spicy tea with orange” though. This “tea” was just a piece of anis and a cinnamon stick in hot water, they did not bother to put a teabag, so I don’t know for what reason this is called tea.

Huge pannekoeken, delicious, not expensive at all. I didn’t finish my meal and they offered me a doggy bag to take it home.

Some of my favorite Dutch pancakes. The pannekoeken are massive and both times I've been here have been amazing. The decor is also pleasant and the service has been very nice and attentive. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city.
