I highly recommend this solo-friendly bar as a perfect spot for unwinding after work. I usually enjoy a beer or cider while catching up on papers and responding to emails. During the summer, their boat terrace is a fantastic addition, offering a unique and enjoyable experience.

The best place for bitterballen and beers while watching the world cup. If you go during a Nederlands game then you'll be standing in the midst of beautiful madness and energy.

Great spot that's always busy on weekends. Awesome whiskey selection and they have Guinness on tap. All the servers are cool except that one chick with the glasses, always seems like there's something stuck up her butt when she serves us, maybe she hates her job, maybe she doesn't like us, who knows. All the dudes behind the bar are chill and hilarious. Awesome place for any English or Irish themed events, like St Paddy's Day which spilled out into the street. People clapped when the cops came, who just laughed and left after seeing everyone was just having a good time.

Great service, love the small bar where you can look up at 3 shelves of whisky. Small bourbon selection but purposeful. Bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable, even let me try one or two. They have the whole whisky tasting setup with proper glassware, and even a dropper for microdilution for optimal tasting.

The bartender saved me as jesus did, washing away my sins with salmari, bonus that he looks like jesus! Bless Pietro the bestest sexiest bartender in the world of all time, ever! Amen.

Great place to end your workday and enjoy a nice drink. Compared to most of the pubs around, it's quite big with lots of tables, so you can fit in with a bigger group as well. Sometimes they have live music. The place is also a good one to watch football, especially when you're not looking for a Dutch match and all the other bars are filled with the local folks.

Want to have a drink in a proper English pub. Go to the Northend. You will love this place. Also, check out the back because the place is huge. Perfect place for a group!

Old English pub. Has been around for add long as I remember. The fish and chips is expensive, but great. They have many beers and a very impressive whiskey collection. Come here if you want good food, great beer or whiskey and some extremely cozy atmosphere. Some staff members are a bit uptight but that's OK. You can what major sports events here as well
