Stayed here with my family in early March. The location which is central, was a great place to use as a base to visit Maastricht. The staff were so kind and helpful could not do enough for us. Will look forward to our next visit.

Although we sadly only managed to spend one night here, our stay was everything we expected it to be. Thanks to its central position, the hotel is easily accessible from the train station and allows for a romantic late-night walk through the city center, after which you can reward yourself with a nice warm bath (bathtubs in the rooms are an awesome touch to complete the super cozy vibe of the hotel). Personnel very friendly. 10/10 would recommend for a romantic getaway with your significant other.

Great hotel in the middle of the city centre. I am very surprised it has "only" a 3.8 Google rating. Our stay in a spacious family room was very comfortable, excellent beds, good shower and real attention for detail. Next time in Maastricht I'll try to book this hotel again.

The key to understanding this place is to temper your expectations, particularly if you’re a transatlantic traveler used to American hotel standards. Parking is half a block away and will cost you $20-30/day, which is average for a prime center-city tourist location. The hotel is a converted building where properties are tall, narrow, and old; there are going to be quirks, creaks, iffy staircases, and small rooms. The TVs are laptop-size, and the only place for clothing storage is one medium-size wardrobe, so you’ll be living out of your luggage. Yes, the in-room bathrooms have no door. (Still trying to figure that one out.) None of this matters if you accurately match your needs to your hotel. If your vacations consist of a lot of hanging out in the hotel, watching TV and perusing the amenities, look elsewhere. If you just need a place to crash at night and will be out exploring for the majority of your stay, this is your hotel and you’ll save a few bucks while enjoying the restored-antique ambience.

I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel. Sadly, our plans were cancelled due to Corona and I had to cancel our reservation. The staff was really quick and super friendly in handling our unfortunate cancelation. To me that speaks a lot to the quality of their service. I wish hotel & staff a lot of succes during these harsh times of Corona. I'm hoping to come stay at there soon!

The room is small, clean and has everything I need. There is no door to separate the section between bedroom and bathroom though but it's perfecrly fine for me since I stayed alone in a single room.
