Café Zuid

A really nice store! The view was amazing, we were looking at the canal, everything was perfect. We ordered two coffees, the waiter came quickly, everything fine. The atmosphere was ideal, because it was a combination of the store, the weather, the company, the location, and the coffee. I would go again, it's a no brainer.

My absolute favorite place to study in Maastricht. The patio is peaceful and quiet. The chairs are so comfortable I could stay there for hours. Highly recommend a cappuccino with hazelnut praline syrup. The club sandwich is also yummy but a tad pricey.

A very good cafe in a very good spot! Especially the armchairs by the water are the best on the hot days. The prices are ok, the staff is quick and polite. There are many choices for coffee, light food or drink.

Very nice place for lunch, Good Internet for work and nice drinks and food for dinner. They have a sunny terrace perfect for the Sommer.

Its always super gezellig at Cafe Zuyd.
On days with good weather it is a bit harder to find a spot on their amazing terrace, but if you find it so important to be on terrace you can call ahead of time and make a reservation to which they are always super friendly and helpful with.

Their dishes are super large and filling, the shared platters are the right size for a group of 4, and the cocktails are strong yet still super tasty!

One of the finest places to sit in Maastricht. The allround service is amazing, the staff is very nice and helps anyone. Holding open doors, warning people sitting outside about the weather and just simple things.
There is a lot of choice in drinks, especially wines and beers.
The food is of very high quality and recommended to anyone coming for a quick bite or wanting to enjoy high quality dining.

Overall just a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the in- and outdoors.

The outdoor seating area is very nice and has a good view, great if the weather is nice.
The indoor area is also very good and has a large table with plugs if you need to do something on your laptop or read.
Their selection of soft drinks which I have tried has also been very good so far.

Service: waiters were extremely helpful and polite.
Meals: it provides vegan options and they have allergy guied. One of the people I went with had fish, glutin and egg allergy and they were very mindful of that. The food was amazing.

Yeah got really drunk here with mates. 8 of us were really well looked all night. Didn’t eat but others food looked good.

The best place to meet friends. I have had a lovely salad and there was a nice pasta for my son. It is in a fantastic location, has friendly staff and a variety of drinks. You can sit inside or outside. No far off this restaurant is a children's play ground

This was an excellent place for our group of former work colleagues. The setting and service were perfect. I think we all enjoyed the sharing platters and then the main course. The choice for the main course was not long but I saw more than a few dishes I could choose from. On this occasion I took chicken satay with rice which was lightly spiced with what seemed to be a coconut background and a salad prepared prepared with a slightly nutty sweet dressing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for friendly efficient service & value for money

This place is right next to the river and is so nice. I would come here often just for the view. The cafe itself has stairs leading downwards closer to the river rather than upwards away from the river. The construction and interior decoration of the cafe is just great. It feels very artsy inside there.

Amazing food! Had café zuid sandwich and sweet potato fries! Heaven!!!
