Café 't Pothuiske

I ordered a french onion soup and i can’t stress enough how delicious it was. The best soup I’ve eaten in a while. This place has an aesthetic and cozy atmosphere.🧅

Ideal pub to drink some beers and enjoy the evening. There are multiple dining options as well.

Personally, my card was not accepted so I had to go to the hotel and then pay with cash. I suggest you to take some cash with you, just in case 😅

Great selection of beers and really friendly staff. Inside is small but a really great atmosphere. The toilets downstairs are clean and easy to find. Was about 5 minutes walk from the easyHotel and best bar closest to this hotel.

We went in for a quick Goulash soup (wich I highly recommend) and some beers.
The place is situated in a nice building by the Maas, it has a really cozy interior and a nice selection of beers.
The soup was hot, a little bit spicy and made woth good quality paprika.

Small, like most, café in Maastricht with great service and a nice selection of food. One of the few that also services some local delicacies as finger food whilst enjoying their nice beer selection. Do try one of their beer menus as the prices for the beer menus are very friendly.
If you order the selection of cheeses, make sure you are hungry as we got enough cheese served to feed a family. (wasn't cheep but you get value for money)

Cosy, central, perfect! After a good search for a lunch stop in Maastricht, found this beautiful place. It is a cosy, traditional style cafe in the city centre. It has covered outdoor seating, even though, I prefer the atmosphere inside. They have a lovely selection of Dutch snacks. Personal recommendation the farmers lunch (boerenlunch) and the selection of deep fried snacks (bittergarnituur). They have a tasty selection of beers, including a whisky infused one which was delicious! Thank you for a friendly service and a great lunch!

This is THE cafe. Coen is the best and most professional waiter in Maastricht both at de Pepel (which has become worse since he left) and now here. He's got the memory of an elephant even after one or two visits will know your your preference and advise great beers catered to that.

The drink selection is fantastic and the snacks and meals are also very tasty. This is the most 'gezellig' place in all of Maastricht and deserves a visit to experience what a real Maastricht café is like.

Beer selection is great. Staff is very knowedgeable and friendly. One of the best pubs (with a great view) in town.

Always a good glas of beer, wine or nice coffee. Great little menu with tasty food and snacks. Friendly staff and warm towards all guest but especially to the older generation who have been going for many years. Help finding a table, little chat. So very valuable and appreciated. Maybe actually the real „Hoeskamer“ of Maastricht? Keep it up!
