Quite impressive site. Great place to learn more about the Dutch wetlands.

I would say that much of the information that you read on the walls of this venue is in Dutch. I would imagine that there are equivalent documents in your chosen language.

This is a great place to enjoy with people of all ages. Learn and embrace the environment.

We found it by chance as we navigated our way through the wetlands as part of our EuroVelo 15 adventure.

Go, take a look!

Very interesting place! You can take a boat tour, very nice! Is one 9f the best examples how Nature-Based Solutions help to manage flood risks and offer eco-services, such as boating, walking around surrounded by nature and pretty nice landscapes! The Museum is really complete! You have to see it! I really enjoyed this place! There is a cafeteria and souvenir shop inside 😃

The place is nice, not so big, but the outside is great. We took the boat, didn't see many beavers, but it was a nice ride. The boat ride is around 1.15 hours. Small cafeteria do nothing special, but drinks to seat outside.

Great national park, also accessible by Ferry, Ferry ride from Dordrecht to Biesbosch is very nice. The duration is just 12 minutes. Great for walking and also cycling. Playing areas for kids at different places.

Nice, modern museum, with information about the history of the Biesbosch and the people who used to live there. A lot is explained about the craftspeople (harvesting reed & willow or fisherman) who lived there. Several specimens of their tools are present Also about the importance of the water and the unique nature of the wetlands.

Very interesting exhibition on the history of the Biesbosch. Presented through a combination of interactive elements and collection of objects.

The exhibition is not huge making it ideal to visit with children and/or as part of exploring the nature reserve itself.

Very modern, well-designed museum about the creation and history of one of Europe's most important wetlands - and by extension about Holland's relationship with water. Well worth a couple of hours, including the stroll along the 'Pannenkoek'.
