Super cool place full of nature and animals, take a boat, kayak or a cheeky walk around and see what you can find!

Beautyful place, love the marshy climate.

Very nice place to Visit. Bike the whole island. Rent the boot ect so many options to look around. You can't rent bike that pitty. Very relax place to spend time with families or friends.

It's one of the hidden gems. You can easily spend a complete day here.

Activities to do here apart from hiking / biking around is to hire a boat and go around the numerous routes.
Don't expect to see a beaver all year around. They have yearly cycle pattern of activity.

How beautiful. I guess it gets really busy in the summer but it was OK whilst we were here. Very peaceful

A must see for anyone visiting the Netherlands. Tranquil, beautiful nature with incredible views. Lots of options to take a cruise from Drimmelen.

Stunning. Had a completely mad few days of beer, grub & metal, so decided to walk off some of the offending calories in the National Park on the way back to the Ferry. So glad we did, what a stunning place. Absolutely beautiful. Could happily get lost there for a week or ten. :)

The Nationalpark De Biesbosch really is a unique landscape, a beautiful destination for friends of nature that like hiking and even more for landscape and nature photographers.

Stayed on a camping trip in Werkendam. This region is great for a active vacation. There's lots of waterways for canoeing kayaking and good layed out routes for a bicycle ride. Lot of nature and bird watching on the polder.

Nice nature reseverve with stunning views, a great variety of birds. It is a perfect place to cycle around as the cycle paths are of high quality. There is a museum and a place to stop for a break. As there is a lot of water, there is a system of little ferries for cyclists and persons but please check their opening times.

The National park can only be accessed by renting (Or if you own) a boat. There are also options of a ferry ride, at the Drimmellen side, which takes you through a part of the park, advisable to book tickets ahead. Plenty of parking available nearby. There is a very helpful visitor centre of the park at Drimmellen (and also on the Dordecht side)

This place is absolutely fantastic! You can spend there hours and hours and not get bored. I live just 10km from and I know already that I’ll be coming here super often!

This is the best National Park I have ever seen. We usually go there for fishing but you can take walks and see the wild birds.

Must visit place if you are in the area! National park on an island, full of biodiversity, reach flora and fauna. Beautiful experience! Watch out on your ferry time schedule, the only way to cross from Dordrecht city area to this park.

National Park where you can see some classic Dutch nature. Good for ½ - 1 day of boating. Great place for spotting birds and "Polder"wildlife. Water is connected to the sea, resulting in eb & flow of the water throughout the day.

Water nature at its finest. Good place to spend a weekend, with camping spots, sailing channels and islands walks.

Great place to spend time in nature. Rent a boat nearby and enjoy peace and calm while slowly moving around through the water. Watch out for shallow areas as your boat can get stuck easily!

One of the best national parks in Holland. Characteristic Dutch landscape with a larga variety of flora and fauna. Along the side very cosy little villages where you can rent boats to discover this large area form the water. There's also the possibility to take guided tours with nature specialists.

A place to discover from the water. Canoes or kayaks can be rented for around €30/day.
