Cool place with super delicious food! The meat stew was unexpectedly good, and the portion was generous. Super friendly staff👌🏻

Delicious food and cool atmosphere! Prawns and Duck were the best. Duck was cooked to perfection. Steak Tartar was more of a Dutch style and not the French style I prefer but still nice. Rioja wine was also delicious!

Nice place. Inside it is nicely decorated and outside you can sit by the canal. Very friendly and fun staff, wide choice of delicious cocktails and good wines. Prices are a bit on the high side, but that's to be expected for a place like this.

This is definitely a very nice place for a cosy diner. The atmosphere is great, the food quality is outstanding. Staff is kind and helpful. We liked the glass terrace setup although we were placed in the normal restaurant. Next time we will book a glasshouse with table. Menekşe and René

Food is very good, I suggest the rip eye, it's excellent. And loaded fries.
Nothing so special about the pasta.
The place is noisy because of people's voice.

Great location in the center of Alkmaar. I served the salmon dish (around 18-19€) and later drank the negroamaro wine (around 4-5€ per glass). The food was very tasty, the wine as well. Very nice atmosphere in the venue and friendly staff. Maybe the music was a little loud, but not a big problem. Recommend!

Excellent table service, superb atmosphere and great food. Having only starters as main courses is not an issue. Please do note that sea food starters are listed under the main courses. But they are quite large and can easily go for a main course. We shared the soup, gambas and mussels among the two of us and it still was too much. Certainly we will dine here again when we pass by or stay over in Alkmaar.

Very lovely place! Food is super delicious (a bit pricy though..) and we went to one of those greenhouses outside, nice idea, perfect to isolate from lousy restaurant. One remark: please fix the glass door it is very dangerous cause it is sometimes falling out:)
Besides that very nice experience and perfect place for the dinner, highly recommended!

This is a very beautiful place to eat! I personally loved the decorations. The waiters were open, friendly and helpful.

The food was absolutely amazing. The Tajine was delicious! I was absolutely amazed so I constantly told all my friends how good my food is. ;-) It could have been written on the card that the Tajine is quite spicy but for me it was just right. The fries delivered with it were some of the best I ever had, they were really crunchy but neither dry, nor fatty.

I know, I am using a lot of superlatives but seriously, this is one of the best restaurants I visited.

We had dinner at 1480 Foodbar on December 29th in one of their solariums. The food, service and experience was amazing!!! Will definitely go back nextime we are in Alkmaar.

Very nice atmosphere and good food. The tables for two along the side are quite small (especially when food arrives), so if you have the option for a bigger table, I'd recommend that. Friendly staff, good options for drinks. Their beer and wine selection is very nice, as are their cocktails. It's laid back but still fancy enough to celebrate something.

What a beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere was lovely, the drinks were tasty and the food was amazing!! Loved it!
