Steam Train Katwijk Leiden

Magical place. So many pieces of rolling stock are preserved there. The staff is incredibly friendly. Totally worth the ticket price

The child really liked it at the very beginning of the museum. We liked it so much that we couldn’t get to the museum itself, to see the big locomotives. So we will go more than once. We bought steam locomotives there, very convenient, thank you.

Great place to go with children, 2 train rides plus museum plus nice place to play with toys.

If your child loves trains this is definitely a place that you need to visit. It’s packed with locomotives. On special events they also show century old fire trucks to the general public.

The museum has a canteen with a limited offer of food and beverages. However the child’s play area is awesome. Endless hours of fun.

Museum for narrow gauge trains. Kids enjoyed the steam train and diesel train rides. A nice indoor place for children to play with train toys too.. Great staff who were eager to explain all questions that you may have..

Great place for those who love trains, mostly diesel but also a few steam trains! Great for children as well. The lake close by is also beautiful for recreation

Great little museum managed and cared for by a devoted group of volunteers. The kids loved the short steam train ride as well.

GREAT museum, child friendly, interactive. Kids can touch and move almost every switch/control etc.

It's good look in past, nice collection of diesel and steam engines, wery nice interactive exhibitions, definitely nice place to spend copel hours, drink some coffee with apple pie surrounded with all thet hand crafted metal
