Boerderij Meyendel

Delicious pancakes, spacious seating areas, beautiful surroundings. Self-service line on a Saturday afternoon was long but moved quickly.

Nice resturant in the national park Meyendel. Wery nice garden with many trees and a lot of space, food in the form of a self-service buffet, I prefer this form. I really like apple pie and coffee. This is a good start on hiking trails. If you go with public transport, there is a bus from Den Hague to Wassenaar, De Kieviet and about 30 minutes nice walk to this restaurant. National park around is amazing!

A good place to take a break during your tour in the park. You can reach the restaurant by bike, walking or car. Also a good place to start your trip.

Definitely worth a visit. Delicious pannekoeken (and salad!). Inside is very cosy and comfortable and outside is pure nature. Great too for dogs and kids to play in the nature.

Great spot, nice and quiet when we went during the week. There is a choice of pancakes, vegetarian and with meat. Good cakes too. The place is self service after you order, has nice views and if you're interested you can check out the ponies in the back yard after. Watch our for the friendly tortie cat with a red collar outside and make sure to give it attention and pets as required.

Great food and really homely and cozy atmosphere. My girlfriend and I had a little corner to ourselves close to the central fire place. Pancakes where quite delicious only a little bit pricey. I would defenetly recommend walking or cycling to the farm to enjoy this lovely hidden gem in the middle of the dunes.

We always very like to visit Meyendel with the family. You can make nice nature walks by using various trails. For the kids there are play areas. In the self service restaurant you can get drinks and food.

Love, love, love this place. Great location for a lunch or dinner after a hike a beach day or a sports day in the beach. The place is gorgeous, with cosy and comfortable seating areas next to a fire. Also outside when good weather. The pancakes are exquisite but you need to wither be early or when there are not that many people. It is popular and can be quite full.

Fantastic pancake house, cozy, friendly service and a great treat after a nice walk in the dunes. The pancakes are delicious. I do feel that at peak hours (sunny days or weekends between 1:30 and 2:30 pm) people looking for tables make it a bit chaotic. So, if you wish to sip your coffee slowly without the pressure of families with young kids looking for a space, try to visit before or after.

Very pleasant and cosy place in the middle of a nature reserve: dunes and light forest. Perfect to visit by bike and also close to secluded beach. A gem in the busy coastal Randstad of Holland. Nice food, especially the freshly made pancakes. Go visit!

Great place to take the kids but usually quite busy. The self service line will require you to wait in line for 15 minutes or so. Love the location though

it is a cozy spot in the middle of the meijendel, lovely for a family outing. is reachable by car from the wassenar entrance of the park or by feet (from the scheveningen side it took me one hour to walk there with a stroller) or bike. The car can be parked very near to the entrance and the place is dog friendly. I highly recommend eating the pancakes but also the 'maaltijd salade' (salads) are delicious and filling and it is not pricey at all. It is a place where you can enter in your hiking clothes and not worry too much about looks. Inside the restaurant has a fireplace and cozy sofas, wooden furnitures and a lovely children playing area. Outside there is a playground for children and a larger "monkey park" with trees and climbing areas also for children.

Same pricing as a cafe or something, but the portions are great!

Uitsmijter with cheese and bacon was a whole meal!
