De Eend (The Duck)

This restaurant is the best kept secret in this area. Amazing food, location on a lake, superb service. And decent pricing. Shhh don't tell anyone!

De Eend is one little jewel between lakes.

The place is as authentic as it gets, the stuff is awesome, the food is fun and tasty... Some portions are huge (main courses).

We especially liked the lamb, the carpaccio with foie gras and the onion soup.

The venue is correct, could benefit from a bit of painting, deep cleaning and updating but on this waterfront location it's acceptable.

I would definitely recommend it and will come back.

It's a Beautiful place with lovely staff that a very friendly. Food was amazing. Great flavour !!!! Loved the taste of all the stuff I tried. We will definitely be back. 👍

High-quality culinary food! Main courses are priced around €20 but are definitely worth every penny. Also very friendly and quick service. I would recommend this restaurant if you are on a boat on the Loosdrechtseplassen and want to have a lovely diner.

Routine location for our family reunions. To date always spot on: lovely food, wonderful location, very pleasant Staff, it doesn't cost a King's ransom.

The prices are high but the food is great and the place is amazing. I recommend the duck breast and the starters tray with a little bit of everything.

It's a cute little cafe along the water. It is a serene place with friendly staff. Food was average.

Such a wonderful place. The food is sooo good and authentic. The people working their obviously love their job and treat their costumers very kindly!! Warm atmosphere inside the restaurant with a beautiful view. We certainly will come back for a 3th time!

Great evening meal here. Friendly staff relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. Particularly enjoyed the wild boar fillet special. Wife's veal liver was also delicious. And the Duck is dog friendly- thank you.

Such a cute and romantic spot by the lake. Great food, ambience, drinks and servers. The local fish n steak were excellent.

Found this place while out dog walking. Stopped for lunch. Lovely terrace on the water and the dogs were welcome. A diverse menu, but the kitchen delivered on each dish. So good we went back the following day. A really nice find for our holiday.

Great food with friendly service.
Doesn’t look like it from the outside and by it’s location, but we were very much surprised by the quality. It is a bit pricey, but then again it is not for what you are getting.

I Love this place, such a perfect location inbetween two lakes, it is looking out over a big lake from the back of the restaurant. Food is good and classy. The people there are mainly families, friends or locals but it has a nice atmosphere. Service is always polite and professional.

"With a pinch of duck!" ti said on the web page. This is one thing there were not honest about, this place had a lot more than a pinch of duck. This was entirely duck themed. This is kinda why we ended up here. I love ducks. They are sweet birds, and they taste good. So, we ate duck too. Roast duck and duck salad.

The food was very good, the price was not bad at all, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It had that coozy feel that so many restaurants are missing by being "trendy and cool!", but yet it was an exceptionally cool restaurant. Unique location as well, something you do not find many places like at all.

So cozy and relaxing! A casual restaurant with a view to the lake. The fish was fresh and tasty, the staff was very friendly. Overall a nice place for a pleasant evening. Gezellig!
