Hotel & Bungalowpark Prins Hendrik

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Prins Hendrik during a 5 week holiday in Europe. I can say with absolute certainty that this was the very best experience I've had in a hotel.

The breakfast is beyond amazing they even have pancakes and french toast to order along with an unbelievable selection of breads, granola, meats (including bacon), yoghurt, and scrambled eggs.

The room was well appointed and very clean. I really loved the kettle in the room to make my own coffee bedside in the morning. The bathroom was spotless, with a luxury shower. I LOVED the opening window in my room. The wifi is exceptionally fast I saw speeds consistently of 250Mbps.

The staff was beyond helpful and courteous and even did some laundry for me <3!

Very cozy restaurant, doesn't matter you have a reservation or not you can always find a place. The food is nice and service is friendly, despite a bit delay for the beer we ordered. The dish has decent portion and price too. Two days ago we've been to another hotel restaurant, while the owner said it's difficult to get the staff, so hard to keep up the business, I see the difference in Restaurant Floris (as they are a hotel restaurant too). I think when it comes to the bottom line, it's the food quality attract the customer, not enough staff or not. In previous hotel restaurant, they forgot our order completely and in the end we got all dinks free as compensation. I rather to have a good dinner than to have drinks on the house. Restaurant Floris is a good place to be, after you have a walk in the neighborhood.

Really one of the best hotel experiences we've had in the Netherlands. The quality of rooms, service, and food were all exceptional. They were very accommodating of our dog and even left treats for him on the bed.

Excellent! If you want a true secluded island/rural vacation/getaway, Prins Hendrik is the ideal place. It is right by the path by the Wadden Sea - east side of the island. It is super quiet and a little far away from the more "crowded"/popular villages in the west. If you are a nature lover, like to bike, watch birds, this is the place for you. The staff are wonderful. The facilities are really well maintained. There are two options - the hotel and then the bungalows. We have stayed at both. If you are coming for more than 3-4 days, I recommend the bungalow. They come fully equipped with everything. Only issue is that the grocery stores are a little far away. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent - a little bit on the pricier side but worth it! I highly recommend Prins Hendrik. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else at Texel.

Great hotel with friendly staff and amazing food! The bedroom is comfortable & renovated, the toilet is clean and the breakfast is delicious. I truly recommend staying at this hotel and having dinner there since they serve very delicious food.

Top service. Our request to bring food to the room - due to the circumstances of a very young man in a room who had stomach cramps - was not refused. I highly recommend this hotel

Great vacation park with a hotel, small houses/bungalows, and i think caravan spots too. Been coming here for years, very tranquil and easy going vibes, they have electric bikes for rent which are a great way to explore the island, and they're right next to the sea if you're inclined to take a walk around the coast at any time :)

The rooms in the hotel were super tidy and seemed up to date, and the breakfast, drinks and food were also top notch. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very nice stylish room, big shower and delicious breakfast worth getting up early! They serve locally made yoghurt, fruit jam, warm bread and the coffee is very good too:)

Clean and stylish rooms, good bathroom, tasty breakfast from local products, friendly staff and good location! Keep in mind, there is no sea view, since there is a hill along the whole island between the sea and the road.

Fabulous house, very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely kitted out house, everything you could need is there, just bring food and drinks. The restaurant has excellent food. Great views over the fields.
