King's Inn City Hostel, Hotel & Restaurant

A brilliant hotel in the centre of Alkmaar.
We stayed in one of the loft rooms.
Quiet and a good night's sleep.
A very good breakfast to start the day around the corner within the hostel building.
Staff were very friendly.

Can I give this place a 10 star? Because this is amazing! Hands down the best brunch we’ve had. Recommend açaí bowl, frittata (heavenly!!).

This is a great hostel/hotel!! We had an amazing stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and neat. The hotel/hostel itself looks absolutely gorgeous, and is right in the middle of the city centre.
The room had no windows, but we knew that in advance. And this actually turned out to be a good thing; the heat (28°C) from outside couldn’t get in!
We’re definitely going to stay here again 🙏🏻!

A great place to stay when in Alkmaar. The rooms are basic but clean and we were well looked after.

Its a hostel with shared sleeping rooms, so don't expect too much, but it is cheap, clean, the staff is nice and everything is very reasonable

Excellent location and service. Private rooms are beautiful and budget friendly. Manager and staff are well behaved and helpful.

Close to everything you need - entertainment or transport.
Service is amazing, everyone has been very nice, at check in and all throughout our stay. The coffee in the morning is the best I've had and you have a good deal as guest. They also have a good selection of beers, you can enjoy inside or out.
Rooms have no windows, so it can become pretty hot in the summer. Bring a small fan - or buy one from media Markt across the street and you should be good 😉

Awesome hotel in Alkmaar! The service was excellent, great coffee, cake and then a full big breakfast! Our room was beautiful right on a canal. Believe there are three rooms right on the canal level. You should definitely stay here, I will be coming back.

The staff were very nice to me as I stayed here 10 days. Helped me with directions and told me about local events also gave me activities to do in my spare time like boat riding and playing board games. The food was really good always something different and delicious. All the shops were not far so it was easy getting around everything is local. Overall had a great time.

I have been here with my girlfriend for 4 nights, check in was easy and the receptionists were friendly and kind.

The room was quite small but clean, there was a small bathroom inside it. At least good experience, recommended.

Excellent service - friendly helpful staff. Really enjoyed their tender schnitzel! Simple straightforward food - tasty and well prepared. A great place to have an unpretentious, well priced meal. Relaxed and comfortable ambience.

Had a warm stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. Also not far from Amsterdam. Came here when all the hostels in Amsterdam got very expensive. But the locality is good for a stroll at night time too.

King’s Inn is the perfect place to stay in Alkmaar. Great location in the central of Alkmaar. All what you need is at hand and close to you. It’s very clean. King’s Inn’s restaurant serves very delicious meals and snacks with reasonable prices.
The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my staying.
I recommend King’s Inn for anyone wants the best value of his money.

I won' go into a dorm room again it's just not for me to share with strangers but the place was clean, spacious,central and staff very friendly and helpful

Our friendly host Bo from the Kings inn took care of our weddingparty, from the Boat with drinks and tapas to the diner and party, dressing the venue and taking care of all the details possible. They went above and beyond what one would expect and made our weddingday unforgettable. Great communication, flexibility, hospitality, quality and care for a very good price. The kings inn is a prime example of how a venue should treat its guest. Thank you for this wonderfull day!

Really good hostel, there is no kitchen for the guests but you can eat and drink at the bar/restaurant inside the hostel. The location is very good, everything is nearby. And the staff is very friendly !

The place is very nice and cozy, just breakfast wasn't that great value for the money we paid for it. That told us that breakfast was until 10.30,but at 9.30 they didn't have many things and they didn't plan on adding more unless requested.

Really well managed hostel, 15’ of walk from the train station, 1’ of walk from the bus stop, close to the beer museum. Good choice for visit the Alkmaar centrum. Good kitchen.
