The River

Nice restaurant with a pretty location and view. The entourage was also beautiful. We started with Merlot and oysters. I had the redfish and my boyfriend had the tournedos. Tournedos was way too overdone and tough unfortunately. My fish was perfect and glistening!! Very tasty. It was accompanied by a risotto. I enjoyed it a lot

Amazing dinner! As it was sunny, we booked a table on the terrace at the river for dinner.The view is so nice over the water. The service was great and quick, and the food was so good!
We went with a seafood platter to share, then a burger and the pork belly. For the dessert, we tried the espresso martini and the dame blanche

Great food and lively atmosphere at The River!

We had a delightful lunch at The River yesterday. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, with something to please everyone. We opted for veal and flammkuchen, and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was lovely.

The restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere, which added to the overall experience. It was a bit on the noisy side, but that wasn't a major issue for us.

Overall, we had a very positive experience at The River and would highly recommend it to others. We'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Went for lunch on a cold day. A beautiful restaurant with an extensive menu. Perfect and swift service. Attention to detail. Well seasoned and toasted sandwiches.
We have to go back for dinner and the large and gorgeous terrace in the summer.

Lovely location by the river - an amazing option for sunny days! Staff is very friendly and dishes are very well thought and served. The burrata, in special, comes in a great size with delicious sides. Alo, highlight for the bitterbollen a the best I’ve tried in the NL so far.

We loved our visit here, the best meal of our trip. Very reasonably priced for the food quality and service we received. We’d recommend the beef bourguignon and confit duck and a meal out isn’t made without a side order of truffle fries!

A decent restaurant that offers locally grown as well as seasonal meals. White asperagus with boiled potatoes and hollandaise was great!

Lovely place, with a good menu and very prompt service.

One of the best restaurants in the area for having fine dine experience. The setting is great. Especially in a sunny day sitting on terrace right besides river makes it more special. Food is great. We are vegetarians and they have got some nice veg options also like Flamkuken etc but the stand out item was Nachos and Citroen Cheesecake. Overall one of the finest restaurants to have great fine dine experience

According to my wife (from the 🇺🇸) she had one of the best burgers she ever had. Shake shack but a fancy version. Fries are good too! Friendly service!

We stopped here during our bikride for a drink and a nice snack. The service is food, the personnel was kind. We ordered a mixed snack plate which was very nice. First time we saw Hotchin sauce on a snackplate but it was very nice. It was a nice little break we had.
