Best spareribs I've had in a while. The sole is great. So is the grilled half chicken. The asperagus soup was fresh and really nice. Strudel for dessert. Perfect bistro food.

Friendly, friendly service! Food (steak, seafood and ribs) were delicious, but the mixed vegetables tasted like they were frozen veggies. Desert, coffees and drinks great too. Nice cozy atmosphere, sitting outside on a pleasant evening. Highly recommend!

This is a pub that offers simple, honest and well prepared food. Its location is fine for parking and they have a great terrace. Sadly the terrace does not offer a very exciting view. As a main we had a stake that came with mushrooms, onion, bacon stips and fries. Especially with regards to the price they offer a lot! Service was fine and we could find a place with a bit of privacy. Not the place to make the extra miles for but when you are in the are and want simple and enough food; go for it!

Really enjoyed our Valentine menu celebrating our 24th anniversary at the restaurant. Food was excellent and great value. Staff were very welcoming

Beautiful traditional building with a cosy and inviting atmosphere. Can recommend the Spicy Chicken 🍗 will definitely visit again on my next trip

The staffs are super friendly and have sense of humor. They made me surprised with the dessert chocolate cake.
Highly recommended to eat here when you visit Wassenaar or nearby.

Revisited this excellent restaurant after 8 years! My son now 17 remembered the ribs and was happy to holiday with his parents on one condition, Herberg 't Hoelie ribs. How right he was. As good as last time. Would recommend you book, we did and were not disappointed. Thank you. We'll see you again sometime.

Top staff. Didn't eat but saw it and it looked and smelt amazing. Really nice beer garden. Old school Dutch pub inside.

Food was very good and well worth a visit. Ribs were good as were the pork sate and the mussels.

Fast service, good attention and food was delicious. I had the spicy ribs, my wife the soy/ketchup ribs and my son the schnitzel. 4 normal beers, and an orange juice came to 66 euros and it was worth every penny. Recommended.
