Belmonte Arboretum

A little - not so little - portion of nature with great views over the Rhin river. Lot's of green area and beautiful trees. Very quiet.

Really beautiful garden, especially with Rhododendron, so colorful. Park is big and so many flowers and tree, many benches for resting. Beautiful viewpoint of the river. Have small cafe for drinks and cake. Toilets are available. Parking in front of the park(free)

Nice public park to walk around, chill, have a picnic, enjoy nature...

It has different species of trees and other plants. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

There are some really nice spots with a view of the river close by.

If you are up for a bit of a hike you can enter the park from the river side. I think is probably one of the highest spots in Wageningen.

One of the best places in Wageningen if you want to have a walk around. Always surrounded by flowers and a nice environment. You find always people enjoying the view or in a small picnic.
Tip: we buy a pizza in Da Martini (tarthorst) and eat it there!

Also, the arboretum has the most diverse rododendron collection in Europe. Worth to visit around April-May.

Such a good place to spend your time to walk around Arboretum. During spring and autumn is the perfect time to have small picnic with friends. There are lots of spits that you can use to chill or read a book when it’s sunny. I had such a good time here

It is one of the most natural and refreshing places I have ever visited.

This is a nice place to spend some time appreciating the nature and landscape, mainy during sunset like I did. It's also a good place to just walk or have a picnic with friends or family.

Arboretum Belmonte is a beautiful botanical garden with a big collection of plants from all over the world. Almost all of them are labeled, so you may get a basic knowledge about a plant. There is always something blossoming, but most attractive, of course, the rododendrons spring garden and roses summer blossoming time. There are also new hortensia plants in the south-west part of Arboretum, so autumn gets even more beautiful :)

One of the best place in wageningen to have walks. Very beautiful in spring. Must visit.

Great place for a walk or to hang out on a sunny afternoon. There are trails going down to the road behind the arboretum and go as far back as the hotel. Park is free to the public and has food/snacks available for sale seasonally. Beautiful no matter what time of the year.
