A nice place for a short hike. Better with a pair of binoculers to observe birds. There were lots of wild flowers, wild horses and birds.

Relaxing nature reserve that is signposted with the NS hiking trail. There are no animal fences and plenty of animals along the way. Look out for the band of horses. Beautiful.

Great place for a short hike that goes through some woods, through fields, and along the river. The bird observation platform is excellent for watching the waterbirds in the back ponds. There are no animal fences so you may encounter semi-wild horses and cows roaming around, just make sure to keep your distance and not cross through them. The trail by the building ruins gets very muddy after it rains.

Lovely nature area with different walking routes. There is an accessible route from the restaurant/info center to a look out point. The hiking route of the blauwe kamer is pleasant and filled with nature, floodplains, and cows. The cows are really calm, but sometimes they may be chilling on the trail where you need to go, so either you need to go back or go around. There are some ruins of buildings you will pass, such as the old factor chimney. There are also horses in the area, but they are more difficult to encounter than the cows. There is also a dedicated bird spotting house in the northern part of the area, overlooking both the dry and wet nature. Highly recommended for both the scenery, hiking and nature.

Beautiful area for a walk, encountering wild Konik horses and Galloway cattle. Many different Bird species to see. A splendid area. It also has a decent restaurant.
