Global School for Entrepreneurship

This school was advertised as an incubator where we would be mentored by other entreprenuers, benefitting from theyre past experiences and tribulations.

I participated in a 3 month trial at the beggining of the school year and every class module teacher was a life coach/ book writter/ sociologist. All mentalitiy stuff, hardly useful for someone who is already an entreprenuer and has grasped the notions of strengths, motivation e.t.c.

What wasnt advertised is theres a higher propensity to groom students as corporate intraprenuers, rather than the just do it entreprenuer mindset and have experienced entreprenuers provide advice and guidance which is what I was hoping for.

Worth the 5k for 3 months? No way lol, I learned just as much from other students as I did from all my teachers combined and I felt like I spent most class time helping other students out. If I wanted personal life coaching I would have received more bang from from my buck hiring coaches individually and receive more specified attention and It would be cheaper than what I payed to attend this school.

If you are entreprenuer looking to create an impact in a market you already have in mind I recommend taking a course online or seeking out advice from industry professionals, youll spend 2 years trying to figure out how you feel if you go to this 'school.

All these things considered I would have given a 2 or 3 star review, though the cherry on the cake is that followong difficulties finding me a right uncubator match (never happened) I was contacted by a management member asking if I wanted to speak to the first person they would have in my line of industry, then it was essentially infered that I would have to spend more money for more time at the school to even speak to this person.

Redeeming factors is awesome location, view and centerpoint to meet partners

Unfortunately this school lacks professionalism. I applied for a MBA program and did the interview. They said they'd let me know of my application in a week or two. After, 1.5 months, I got an email saying I was accepted to the program and they'll be sending the invoice shortly. It has been over 7 months now, no invoices, no emails, no communication at any level. They literally forgot the student they accepted to the program. Claiming the school is for 'entrepreneurship', it does not seem to be a good example on entrepreneurship or marketing of any kind.
