Inside is beautiful decoration and atmosphere.
Nice to go for a dinner of even drinks something.
Is just in front to the church.
But the service is not Gazelle, the old woman is always like angry and not a nice answer.

Nice environment, well cooked food, excellent service. If I could, I would put one extra point for the service. We had booked a table for six, but we appeared seven. Instead of squeezing us in a table (which would had been fine too) they moved us to a bigger one the moment it was available. I will definitely go back again!

My wife and I really enjoy eating here, we've had the old menu and now the new and can safely recommend it. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food and drinks have been fantastic!

One of my favorites... The Gin&Tonic are amazing, enough food choices for everyone. I just love the decor and the music is always playing. You can either sit at the bar or enjoy a seat at a high table and people watch. I would recommend visiting and having the Dirty Nachos.

I love this place. We can get excellent food, nice service every time.
The place is big enough, hence you can easily find a table even it is a busy day.

Very pleasant place

Great food and service. Was a bit hesitant at first, because the menu looked relatively simple. But when ordering we found lots of delicious items that were very well prepared. Also the service was really good. Always there to refill your drink, replace your cutlery etc without asking. Got a dirty plate (I didn't even really care or anything) but the waiter immediately apologized and grabbed me a new one. Can recommend.

We just had drinks and small food. I like the place, nice view, in front of the big old church of Alkmaar. Nice staff too. The kaasstengels was veryyyy tasty. You must try. Recommended!!!

Great coffee at €1.50 with a great view of the church. No smoking and smoking sections. Covered and outdoor seating. Went every morning for coffee.

Wonderful establishment. Situated by the old Grote church. Lovely food and drink selection. Added bonus is the building is a well preserved old police station. Well worth the visit each time I'm out here.
