I recommend the burger! It was as good as simple with a nice salad on the side and fries.
The service was perfect friendly waiters and waitresses. The atmosphere was very good especially in the glass house

Staff really kind and friendly! Atmosphere is nice and cozy! Food was outstanding!

Also really nice the little playing area for the kids!

In Alkmaar for a couple of days we selected this restaurant for one of our dinners. Located in a former calibration center and beautifully renovated (impressive high ceilings and open kitchen as well as a glass roof covered terrace).
Welcome was friendly and very attentive (rare these days, so our compliments for the waitress!!) , and we were offered various seating options
We selected to dine on the covered terrace, which overlooks a garden
From the menu (nice to see some Dutch food specialities featured!!) we selected the smoked eel followed by guinea fowl ragout & slow cooked veal, and for dessert an apple crumble
Food quality was excellent and portion size impressive....great value for money
Definitely a place were we will return and highly recommended to those after a great culinary experience in the center of Alkmaar

Happy with the food and its quality. Slightly overpriced. The atmosphere is also very nice. A little more lighting would help for seeing what you are eating.

Good range of local craft beers and quite a few Belgians standards. Lovely location by the canal. Sit outside under sunshades on fine days.

This was the best breakfast we had in the Netherlands. So worth a visit!! It is so beautiful inside and the staff are so friendly! Will definitely go back.

A beautiful spot in town to get rest and have a meal. Good coffee, lovely people, lively place.

The food was very tasty and well-priced. The staff is friendly and swift. I highly recommend their smoothies and homemade lemonades, they are delicious. The prices are reasonable, especially for the scenery and location you dine at. If you eat outside you sit close to the riverbank where you can see all kinds of boats floating by. I would definitely visit it again!

The staff was very friendly and polite. The food was beyond expectation and the presentation excellent. The location is very nice and well decorated. It is located in a small park night next to the city centre.

It is on the expensive side, but worth it for us. Toilets are upstairs, a bit hard to find.

Very nice place. We just had a coffee this time but you can eat. When we were there, they were preparing the hall for a ceremony. And we could've the starters that they were going to serve as you can see the kitchen and the chefs. Starters seemed delicious and very well presented. It was a pity not to stay there for dinner.

Make sure to make a reservation. Beautiful location in a park. Attentive service and nice quality food. For children they will make anything on the menu in a smaller portion for half price.
