I enjoyed the best steak burger twice🤩, and the steak with wine sauce was exceptional👌🏻. The staff is super friendly❤, the vibe is cozy, and the enticing aroma upon entering tells you it's a foodie's haven😋
and all this deliciousness comes at a reasonable price, will definitely be back to try their fish😍

Definetely recommend booking ahead as this place is very busy. No wonder-it is THE PLACE TO BE for a great atmosphere, professional staff and amazing food. The service was absolutely amazing, attentive, explained everything we needed to know before choosing from the menu. Always ready to fill up our glasses and to ask if we are happy with everything. I ordered a glass of wine and then we aksed for the whole bottle however the wine did not taste the same-probably because it was freshly opened and did not have a chance to breathe. The waitress offered to open another bottle with a smile on her face. We did not want it and kept the one that was already opened but it was a good test to see the reaction. The steak was amazing and if you are a veggie like me, do not worry, there are dishes to choose from. So, all in all, if you are looking for the WHOLE EXPERIENCE it is 100% recommended-the best in Alkmaar (so far :).

I eat there on a Saturday with a friend I could only say it was perfect I can not find something to complain the food was delicious and the service was perfecte I can add this restaurant on my list for a regular visit

They do not have a drink menu - that is my only concern.

Usually I do not get excited from a steak, since the meat is kinda the same all over. Therefor I prefer a Rib Eye, or any other kind of meat that has some fat or interesting differences in the meat. With that being said, the steak in this Restaurant was not like any steak I have eaten before. So many different flavors, probably due to the preparation in butter and excellent well done. Highly recommended.

Just off a busier street, lovely interior, attentive service, and terrific food with good beverage selection. We were off a bike/barge boat and felt lucky to have found a local gem. Highly recommend.

We ate there twice last week.

Both times we had the tournados with krieltjes and rode kool. Soooooo good. The tournados was cooked to perfection and had a nice crispy bark.

When we go back to Alkmaar, we'll eat there again.

Just 1 star less than 5 for service, since it was a bit slow. For the rest the service was VERY friendly.

Very good place for meals…

The restaurant is situated in the city centre. It is very cosy with multiple levels. The food and service were top notch. We had a great time eating here.

We were pleasantly surprised with the experience as we spontaneously decided to have dinner at this place. The service was excellent and the food very delicious. A hidden gem and definitely an exception to mediocre standards generally applying around in dining (sorry!).

Very friendly staff and food was delicious. We took the Tournedos and Cod. Both dishes were well prepared. Staff had a good sense of humor!

Fantastic fillet steak, cooked to perfection. We will definitely go back if we are in alkmaar again. Went on Saturday night at 8pm as a family of 4, not too busy inside but outside was packed. Despite this, service was very good.

This place is quite a treat; tournado's and steaks in either medium or large size, pick your sauce (I can personally reccomend the truffel or mushrooms) and side dishes.
My tournado was excellent and although it isn't cheap I can, as a carnivore, wholeheartedly recommend this spot to all you meat lovers out there.

Located on one of the main shopping streets in Alkmaar. Suring the summer period plenty of tables and chairs outside. I enjoyed several times dinner with excellent service. Good place for a pitsstop during your shopping- or excursion trips to enjoybyour favorite beverage
