Very strange old church. Vintage stained glass windows for the most part, with one side having very strange modern stained glass windows with depictions of recent wars, blood, captured people and revolutionaries.

Zeer mooie kerk met eenen gewijde sfeer. U moet over den brug vanuit het centrum den Maas oversteken maar ik mag u dit zekers aanraden!

Mooie kerk voor een gebedje of gewoon een rustmomentje. Kaarsen kun je met pin betalen.

Esta es una de las cuatro iglesias parroquiales católicas de Maastricht. De la antigua iglesia medieval que estaba en este lugar no quedan rastros,y en su lugar se levantó ésta, en 1858. La convulsionada historia de la ciudad había dejado severos daños en su estructura. En la iglesia se encuentra la estatua del Cristo Negro de Wyck , del siglo XIII, una de las devociones folclóricas populares de Maastricht. La iglesia Sint-Martinus es una basílica cruzada neogótica de tres naves y vale el esfuerzo llegarse hasta allí para conocerla.
