Super nice place. Here is my personal take:

Ambient: Super nice room. All is cosy. Not too big not too small.

Food: Best coffee I had in Alkmaar so far. Dishes were all very well prepared. Liked the toast.

Service: very friendly and quick. Super good experience.

The food is delicious and healthy, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this place.

I visited the cafe twice over my short time in Alkmaar and it's one of the best coffee shops I've been to in the Netherlands. The staff are super friendly, warm and attentive.

Coffee is great, I had a cortado the first time and a cappuccino the second. Both were steamed well with great texture and temperature.

Food is lovely I had a chicken Caesar sandwich and it was delicious and very filling. Also their pasties are great and served warm!

All in all it's a lovely space and if I'm ever in Alkmaar again, I will definitely be back!

We have eaten here twice. Despite the restaurant being completely full we were still able to have a conversation. The interior is light and fresh and the staff enthusiastic and friendly. I had the grilled cheese (kaastosti) which was as you'd expect. If you're in Alkmaar and looking for a quiet and nice place to have vegan/vegetarian lunch, this place is definitely recommended!

Very cute café/restaurant that serves all day breakfast.
Lovely staff, great food selection and beautifuly decorated.
They have a small terrace in front or indoors should you wish to be shaded.

Salad, absandwich, a cake, matcha latte and cuppucinno were of all excellent quality. The bread probably comes from the bakery next door as it was perfect.

Look no further in Alkmaar. This is a perfect cafe. The salmon club sandwich, vegetarian pancakes and coffee were all delicious. Highly recommend this cafe.

Whenever we go, we always have a good time! Food & coffee is great and so is the service. Close to the city, so it suits itself for a quick coffee stop or a longer brunch :)

Very cosy place. Staff is very friendly and also local people there are very friendly. Food is delicious, choice is good. You can have coffee also with oat and soya milk. Coffee is good. I had buddha bowl and it was very-very good.

Thoughtfully designed with a very warm atmosphere. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Taking other family members there for breakfast. It was so good!

Absolutely loved this little gem in Alkmaar. Perfect place for lunch. The service was perfect and the food was really good. Beautiful inside, would go back next time.

Enjoyed a great lunch at Echt. Delicious fresh salads and refreshing drinks on the street side patio. Lovely friendly server. Nice location on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. Highly recommend

We had a very delicious french toast and a piece of cake. It is a good place to stay a while and have a coffee.

Very cozy place, with big selection of vegan items, staff is really nice and welcoming. We had delicious raw cakes and coffe with oat milk. They also offer savory food options. Would recommend and I'm definitely coming back!
