Incredible food and amazing service in the little town around Giethoorn. Definitely recommend eating here!!

Want really great food, lots of it, served in a comfortable and cozy room, at fair prices, and an amazing and friendly wait staff?! This should be the goal of every single restaurant in the world! Woody’s has nailed it! Just go! You will not be disappointed.

Friendly staff, great tea selection, very good soups and vegetarian pasta. Would come back any time. The place feels soo cozy and warm I didn't want to leave.

If somebody had told me that I would eat fairly authentic Canadian smoked ribs and beef bourguignon with a side of poutine in a small northern Dutch village, I would not believe it in a million years…Tonight I became a believer. Woody’s House was on a par with authentic Canadian steakhouses. We arrive without reservations so we did not get to sit in the main dining room but the food and service were great.

We had the Woody´s Bread as a starter, which was already great and more than expected. As our main dishes we had the Spare Ribs and the Mount Robson (pork tenderloin) both were very delicious and came with plenty of sides.

We have been at Woody's on Monday evening with 5 people. As we did not know that usually a reservation is needed, we just came in.
The friendly and competent waitress made it possible to accomodate us. The service (our waitress) was very kind and professional, showing up from time to time asking if something else is needed, what we found to be a really good approach to feel us comfortable at all times. The food is just fantastic, you never walk out hungry at this place !! We will come again for sure when being in Steenwijk next time.

Very nice restaurant that focuses on meat. We had the ribs and the lamb, both gorgeous. Service was very friendly. Portions are very large, so we ended up eating way too much...

Wopdy's House is an excellent steak house. It ist strongly recommended to do a reservation because it is usually full. I went there with my family. The waiters were very friendly and recommended starters anderer Main courses. The starters anderer the Steaks were excellent. The steaks were excatly like ordered. The ambiente is casual like expected for a canadian steak house. Since it was full was a little noisy But It is an excellent recommandation for an excellent steak with nice and friendly waiters.
