We had a retirement party for a group of 12 people here. When arrived there were two table instead of one. We asked to make it one and seemed not possible, but the owner was very kind and accepted our weird T shape suggestion and even it was a bit difficult for the personal to move. This had a good impression on me.
Food was absolutely fantastic. I think the pictures say it all. I asked for a very well done entrecote and they made it to my taste. I was super happy, and my colleagues had medium rare also very good and no blood coming out.
I will go again.

No reservation possible, we had to wait a hour at the bar but it was worth it. Simplistic kitchen for steak and fish. Super friendly service.

We were wandering around looking for a place to have dinner while on vacation. We wandered into Bistro De Bok. Wow great service and a fantastic steak. Are entire meal was fantastic. I would highly recommend it.

Little gem of a place. Fabulous tasting food and a good range of choice. Big portions. Cooked over a charcoal grill. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.

One of the best places we have ever eaten!
Having been to some of the best restaurants in Europe, our standards are quite high but Bistro De Bok truly blew us away. The atmosphere was cozy and theatrical. The lit candles paired with the wooden interior felt warm and inviting. The servers where incredibly friendly and attentive while paying attention to the smallest details , which made us feel well taken care of. They understand the true meaning of hospitality. Don’t even get me started on the food…! Everything, and especially the meat that was prepared by Greek chef was devine. If you go there you need to try the tournedos and the rib eye.

We had a great evening at de Bok. Food was phenomal. Alsof we love the White atmosphere, some lager compagnies, with a lot of noise. Very pleasant to be there!

Super busy place but despite that a good service. House wines are good but not great. Hiwever, the meats are superb. Come here for awesome ribeye tournedos and cheaper but more tasty pieces such as a "longhaas" aka brisket. Highly recommend this. Reservations needed if you're with more than 2p

Awesome food and staff.

Guys, I would give you a Star for the whole thing. The food is excellent, the Tournedo Steak is world class and all the other dishes (meanwhile I have tried them almost all) don't fall back. But it is your awesome staff that completes the thing and makes your restaurant really stand out. Keep going and we'll keep coming as often we are in Nijmegen.

I had entrecote. Interestingly, my fave part of the evening was the starter - bread and dip - mustard, garlic sauce etc. If you're with a group of friends, the outdoor seating is a better option

Very busy establishment. Make reservations if arriving later in the evening. The food is excellent as is the staff.
