ToKokoro Ramen

I liked it a lot! Of course, it is not like Raman in Japan but for western food, it is very tasty and above standard! Many different ingredients, too.
Also, nice terrace and inside restaurant, super friendly service!

Incredibly good Ramen Bar and honestly a must-do on a visit to Nijmegen. We had three different dishes as well as several starters and drinks and literally everything was cooked and served to perfection. Anke (the owner) is unbelievably hospitable, invitingly friendly and always happy to help you find just the right dish for you. (Moreover she speaks immaculate English - definitely a recommendation for non-Dutch guests as well!) While the prices may be just a bit on the premium side (~15€/Bowl) they are indisputably justified by the authentic taste and impecable quality offered. We will absolutely be coming back on our next visit to Nijmegen!

Very kind owners and staff, great food, more than fair prices! My friends brought me here because I had never eaten Ramen... I think I will hardly find a better place than this!

Tokokoro is honestly the best thing that happened to the food scene in Nijmegen. The staff is amazing and the food is just brilliant. Every ramen on the menu is honestly great but I highly recommend asking for the "Black garlic tsukemen" which is a dipping style ramen with a sauce on one side and toppings with ramen noodles separate. You might not find it on the menu but they will definitely serve it on request! You can also go with the chef's recommendation of the day if you can't decide. I also highly recommend the chicken karage. The panko coating is just so light and crunchy, it's probably the I've eaten in Nijmegen.

In terms of ramen, ToKokoro Ramen stands head and shoulders above the rest. Truly a big player in a small restaurant.

In Nijmegen there really aren't many good options for asian food that come close to being authentic. ToKokoro Ramen does an amazing job and delivering the eating-ramen-experience.
With a limited, periodically changing menu, they are able to focus on their flavours while also keeping their customers coming back for more. It is because of this that it's no surprise that it is hard to get a seat.
The restaurant does not allow for reservations. Instead, you have to be lucky there is a seat available or you'll be asked to wait outside until there is one. Trust me though, the wait is worth it.

With most ramen-dishes being around €15, you really do get good bang for your buck. If you are able to eat pork, I recommend ordering one of their pork-ramen: the meat is so tender and juicy!

All of that being said, I ordered a Black garlic pork miso ramen and I did find the broth to be a bit too salty and lacking in depth. Seeing how delicious their pork is, it is a shame that the (miso) broth is being overpowered by miso and is lacking much depth.

Everything was soo good!! We ordered the tonkotsu shoyu ramen. The soup was super tastefull, the noodles very nice and the chashu melted in your mouth!!

Superb. The gyozas are smooth and equilibrated, soup taste is intense, noodles cooked “al dente”, pork melts in your mouth... Service is excellent and kind, place is cozy and nicely decorated. Come early to ensure a place

After trying to reserve a table for a few weeks we decided to just arrive and wait for a place on the bar, which Is basically half of the place so its actually easy to get in but we didn't know :) for my first time ever eating Ramen it was a delicious and surprising experience, so many flavors and smells.
It's an open kitchen so we could ask lots of questions and see how they make it.
I will definitely go back so I can try all the dishes!

Tonkotsu miso with Spicy Level 1-2 is my favorite ramen there! It is not a classic style but it has its own twisted charming taste in it that I really like as a Japanese ramen lover. It’s very rich, especially the chasiu bites are heavenly as it melts on your tongue. Corn is nicely charred, gyoza is super nice and up to Japanese standard. We got another noodle portion to put in our ramen as it was surprisingly good. The owners are two very sweet couple who also are ramen lovers, they are very friendly and quick!

Excellent ramen with an authentic taste and outstanding staff. A must for any ramen lover passing by to try.

Will definitively visit again.

Lots of yummy vegan options on the menu (including many of the starter dishes and 50% of the Ramen dishes), and nice drinks (sake, Asian beers etc). It's absolutely worth noting the lovely staff - the place is run by a very sweet and enthusiastic couple (he cooks, she manages the rest) who love what they do and it really shows! We will definitely come back for more. It was fantastic.

I feel like 5 stars isn't doing the place enough justice. Service is so warm, and the food.. wow. The bowls have their own identity as well, with toppings that are unique, or done with a twist. Took a while for me to get there but I'll definitely be back!

A very wonderful place to eat. It's not extremely big but very comfortable. The food all tastes very good and it has enough options. The spice levels are a nice addition. One of the best parts about the restaurant are the servers who are extremely nice and make time for you even if it is extremely busy. Eating here was an extremely nice way to spend my evening.

Really delicious food and service! A 100% recommendation for ANYONE passing by Nijmegen! Easy to reach from the city centre, quality food and quick service when not too busy. Not reservation based either! Bring your friends, partners and family! Everyone can enjoy. Also veg friendly :)

I live in NYC and I eat ramen quite often, but this place is amazing. The restaurant does not take reservations and is a super casual spot on the corner of a cute street. The staff is very helpful and kind. And the soup may quite literally be the best ramen I have ever had. Highly recommend.

More than just food was a full experience, we tried to get there 3 times but it was always full. Yesterday we had the possibility to try their ramen and wow, that was amazing, the smell, the colour and the flavours were unique. The chef explained to us all the details of the recipes because we were seated at the bar and it was a full Asian experience. The kindness of the two owners was the plus that made us feel like being invited for a home dinner with friends. I am sure we gonna get there to try the rest of the menu.

Such a wonderful little Ramen restaurant! I was there with my parents when we were shopping in Nijmegen. We were looking for some dinner, my dad found this place via Google search and wanted to give it a try. It's vegan/vegetarian friendly, which is amazing. The waitress was super kind & courteous, you knew immediately that she loves what she's doing with a passion. We didn't had to wait long for our food to arrive and it was absolutely delicious. Fantastic experience, check this place out if you're in Nijmegen and like Ramen or just want to try something different, it's worth it. ❤🍜

This place is amazing! Best ramen I have ever tasted. The owners are so friendly and passionated about their work. Kimchi tastes like in Korea and the rest of the appetizers are also really delicious. Drinks are original and really tasty, especially the homemade yuzu icetea. The atmosphere is very nice, it’s a small and cozy place with beautiful art on the walls. I went last week for the first time and a week later I had to come back to try the other things on the menu. Both times the food was perfect. My new favourite restaurant in Nijmegen, and maybe even the Netherlands.
