Amsterdam Forest Hotel

Great sized room and comfy bed. Receptionist was really helpful regarding how to get into the centre. Only took 20 minutes to get in, and the buses were really frequent! Receptionist gave us advice to walk 5 minutes down the road where the bus is €2.50 compared to €6 right by the hotel.You just tap your card on and off the bus. We also used the bus to return to the hotel and it only came to about €4.50 in total to travel there and back! Also had the option the hire bikes.

Very helpful and polite staff, nice and clean rooms. Location is great because it’s close to this giant park which I think it’s a must and like 30 min away from city center. Breakfast was also very good, thank you for hosting us.

My stay at the Amsterdam Forest Hotel was delightful. The room was not only clean and comfortable but also set in lovely surroundings, enhancing the experience. Conveniently located along a bus route, accessing central Amsterdam was a breeze. The prompt room service and exceptionally helpful staff, who provided invaluable guidance, were highlights of my stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value for a comfortable, enjoyable stay in Amsterdam.

Excellent Hotel, Rooms are pretty good and luxurious comfort level. Staffs are very kind. Price worthy if you pre-booked one week before.

I had nearly forgotten about my stay here if not for the recent discovery of a handwritten note tucked away with all of my other memorabilia from when I first moved to Amsterdam in 2019.

My dad and I stayed at the Hotel for 4 nights, while I was desperately searching for my first very own apartment after moving away from home at age 18. Prior to our stay at the hotel, my accommodations had been less than ideal – a brief stint at a hostel in the Bijlmer ended abruptly due to a lack of privacy, followed by a three-week stay at the easyJet hotel at Schiphol airport, the most economical option available for an extended stay at that time. Once my dad drove all the way to Amsterdam to come to my rescue, my living situation upgraded to the forest hotel in Amstelveen. There are only a few details I remember vividly about the Hotel itself, one of them being the bathroom. Every night I would sneak in there to pursue my nightly clandestine joint-rolling ritual before stepping outside the hotel to smoke once my dad was safe and sound asleep. The layout of the bathroom inadvertently facilitated my discreet activities by transforming the toilet seat and the spacious sink into a perfect rolling station. To my surprise the ventilation worked incredibly well and he never not once suspected a thing. Oblivious to my then cannabis addiction he even lectured me on his last day there about how he would drive right back to Amsterdam, put me in his car and drive me straight back home if he ever found out that I had touched that devilish green stuff.
He departed in the middle of the night and I woke up the next morning with a handwritten note and a relatively large amount of cash on my nightstand, which I would use to pay of the deposit for the apartment we had found, which later turned out to he a scam and we never saw that money again.

In essence, my stay at the hotel was not merely a transient experience but the setting of a new chapter of my life.

I spent few nights in this hotel. The room was clean and cozy. Near by hotel you can find a bus stop which will take you to the city center. The stuff was very kind and ready to help you.

I stayed here for a week with my partner and we had a fantastic stay. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is well decorated, bright and clean. There isn't a lot around for tourists but there is some lovely parks nearby and a lovely little Italian across the road with lovely staff and food. But the trip into Amsterdam city centre is very easy and straightforward for a simple daily commute.

Perfect stay! Outside of city centre in a quiet neighborhood, two minutes from the bus station that is taking you to the Amsterdam centre. Staff was amazing and the service too. Everything you need for a good Amsterdam experience. Breakfast was also nice, highly recommend! Small rooms but very comfy beds and nice big shower. Everything was clean and they were cleaning rooms every day. Also there is a nesspresso machine and coffee, milk and tea refilled daily.
You can rent good bikes for 18e per person. All in all 5 stars!

The hotel is nice and comfy, the room is spacious and modern designed and the location is convenient as the bus stop is only 2 minutes away and it takes only 20 mins to get to the centre. The staff were all really nice, friendly and welcoming and always smiley with a positive attitude. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of food(savoury/sweet/pastry) and drinks(coffee/milk/hot chocolate/juice). Definitely recommend!

It was the perfect hotel for us, cozy, gentle, perfect room size and perfect hotel size, great location (only but is that to avoid expensive transport fares you should walk around 15 minutes)
And the people working there is very special, ask for Ashiq at from desk, he's the best! Always helpful and kind!
Hope we will come back some time soon!

We stayed with family for 4days .Room for 3 people is v spacious and view fr window towards forest is amazing . Chef Shweta is v friendly and bakes amazing stuff. Reception and other staff is helpful . Location of hotel is good and isat quieter location . For us there was an Indian restaurant nearby Atachya.

Staff were great - made us feel very welcome. Room and bathroom were modern and comfortable although there were few stains on the carpet and bedside tables were a bit tired. We didn’t opt for breakfast as €15 pp was a bit pricey based on the pictures of what was available.

I absolutely love this place. The hotel is decorated in a modern way, not just the bar and the reception desk but also the rooms. The staff was very kind, young and helpful, they had an answer to everything we were interested in. Also, all were dressed elegantly and equally.
The rooms was right sized and well organized. Every day they cleaned them if we wanted to.
Anyway, when I come back to Amsterdam, I'll probably stay here again!

Great location, easy parking at the locationor street parkinv, less busy than staying in Amsterdam city, but close enough to visit daily if you want. This will be my go-to location when visiting the area.

Great place to stay. Staff are warm and friendly and very helpful. Rooms are chic and very clean indeed. The shower in our room was amazing! First class. About half an hour leisurely bike ride to the centre along beautiful streets. Also some nice restaurants around the area. Maybe not the most central location but that worked well for us.

Stayed two nights for business. Room was modern, clean and quiet. Conveniently located for transport into the city via bus or metro. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was good. Only negative was not many places to eat nearby, however the Israeli restaurant over the road is good for a quick bite. Would use again next time.

What a find! Reception staff so, so helpful and efficient. Quality of room was beyond our expectations. Beds/bed linen by far the most comfortable we've ever experienced. Loved the luxurious bathroom, excellent air-con, great choice of English channels. If we come to Amsterdam again definitely staying here. No question.

Clean, new, good location, interesting seems Italian equipment in the shower, a bit sophisticated but handy. very friendly and helpful personnel. Very quiet despite the view was on the street - thanks to Amsterdam's habit to more use bicycle than cars.

It was not a double bed, but two single beds which they put together, not very comfortable to sleep together.
