Love it here, so good we visited twice during our stay in Delft. I would say price is reasonable for what you get and quality is fantastic. Sea Bass was the highlight, delicious.

We had a booking on one night but not on the other and they found us a table.

Dietary requirements well catered for and staff casual and friendly.

If I had to offer a point of improvement, some of the seafood was a bit underdone for my taste. If the salmon and prawns just had a bit longer on the Grill it would have turned some brilliant food into exceptional.

I would highly recommend this place for anyone who loves good food, especially fish tacos and calamari. The flavors were amazing and the dishes were cooked to perfection. I'm giving this restaurant a five-star rating because of the delicious food and great service from the exceptional waitress.

Very modern and chic restaurant, design looks so cool and when you walk through the door the amazing smells hit you! Great customer service and hospitality 👍we were seated at the great round table in the window. There's not many places in NL that cook meat and seafood on charcoal. Highly recommend for families, couples or with friends. I'll definitely be going back again

As a gourmand, I’m always very selective when I’m choosing a place to eat - especially when I’m visiting, because I want to get the most out of the experience and create a memory out of it. Tonight I had dinner at Charcoal, in the heart of Delft and I can say it was a moment I’ll treasure, because of the tasty food, of the great atmosphere but most important because of the staff that was utterly great. The location is a delight, the interior of the restaurant has been selected with a lot of good taste, the food looked and tasted great. I had their chicken and vegetables on the side, really great serving, size and taste. Really juicy and fresh. And once again I want to mention the staff of the restaurant, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It made my evening. It was my first time in Delft and when I’ll visit again, Charcoal will definitely be my choice for food. Thank you for a friendly service, warm atmosphere, great music and tastiest food!

Great grill place with nice view from canal. We loved the vibe. The menu has divers options. Food was delicious we had a mix grill starter which was quite tasty. Rack of lamb chops and Thai rice and salad ... every dish was halal.

What an experience! This is of the best places I have ever been to. The fish is filled with lemongrass and aromatics and a wonderful smell and taste which does not even need the wonderful sauce. The chicken with the garlic butter is also very tender and delicious. I highly recommend this place. A small menu but the quality and the taste are absolutely amazing. Will be coming here more often.

Had a very tasty dinner at Charcoal. The staff was very welcoming and when it was announced that it was my birthday, they made a special appetizer and dessert (which was actually enough for a dinner). A huge platter was made with anything and everything to taste different specialties of the kitchen. The flavors were very good and the quality of it was good too. I would recommend it!

Get a reservation! I was incredibly lucky to land a table outside, but this place was busy and for good reason. The food was excellent, the staff kind and fluent in English as most places here are. They do not accept Visa, so bring Euros if that's all you have.

It is quite rare to find a restaurant with umami bbq charcoal smoked taste, so this one is definitely a must try! The steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and tender cuts. The red wine based truffle sauce was great. Good selection of wine, not too pricey. There is no kinds menu but our 7 yo son enjoyed his spaghetti and chicken bbq. The service was fast and friendly. Saturday at 1630ish was good without reservation. We definitely will come back!

A delicious asian fusion restaurant in the heart of Delft. Food was excellent with their blend of special sauces and unique and flavourful recipes. Both the barbeque chicken and the mussels with red curry sauce are a must try. Service was great as the waitress was friendly and engaging. Will definitely come back for more interesting choices.

Came here with my wife and we were the first people to come in. So was a little nervous but the food was really good!

We had shrimp, cod, fries and veggies and they were all really good!

Loved it. Beautiful design in an extremely convivial town. Fantastic service and wonderful food, full of flame-grilled flavour. Prices not too high for the experience, but expect at least 30€ per head.

1. The food: Exquisite king crab. Perfectly marinated. Optimal chewability.
2. The pasta was perfectly cooked.
3. The waiter was corteous and observant. He noticed I was looking for a place to charge my phone and he offered me a new table where I could do so.
4. I was short of time. Had just 35 minutes to be back on my tour’s bus. I let the waiter know this, and they promptly delivered a swift, but wonderful experience.
5. I was able to make it to the bus on time. 😁

Definitely a place to visit if you are in Delft and would like to eat great quality meat (chicken/beef/seafood). It is very central, the atmosphere is super nice inside with the music, and even romantic while being on the terrace outside. I can only recommend! I personally had the Full chicken with Piri Piri sauce. Delicious!!

The lobster there is amazing. I don’t remember the name of the spicy source but it is really nice and worth trying. The service is also good. And they have a very interesting cook XD. The cook joked that if I didn’t write this review he wouldn’t serve me delicious lobster again.😂 Anyway, charcoal is really nice 👍

One of my favorite date night restaurants in Delft. The tournedos steak is one of the best I've ever had, combined with the spaghetti aglio e olio makes it a perfect meal. Staff and owner are also incredibly nice and provide a great service. 10/10 restaurant.
