Van der Valk Hotel Den Haag - Nootdorp

We go here often with our dog. Very pet friendly hotel! Both the beach and the forest are 30min away by car, so it's excellent.
What really makes this hotel shine though is the personnel. The chef at breakfast. Jack always gives our dog a fresh water bowl. The ladies at dinner also loved our dog, giving him attention.. simply amazing.
The rooms can be maintained a bit better, with some rooms having a bit of draft or flickering lights but it's all good. The bathrooms are very clean and nice.

By far the favourite Hotels from me and my colleagues in the area. The Hotel is modern, the rooms are big and the bathroom has also been spotless clean every visit.
The Breakfast buffet is amazing. So much choices and the restaurant in the evening is amazing. One could argue about the prices but the food quality makes up for that. The Garage is a bit small and sometimes very crowded.

Large and modern rooms, nice bathroom with bubble bath and Dyson hairdryer. Amazing breakfast and great staff. Parking is also free. Nothing to complain about.

This review pertains only to the restaurant. A definitely great food place. Simple. Easy and standard fare. But cooked to amazing good levels. We all had fish dishes. And they were outstanding.
The service was excellent. And the servers were so timely. Not too delayed. Not too hurrying. Just perfectly timed.
Maybe the service and kitchen staff of VdV of Sassenheim can come by and get trained. On how to cook. And how to service your customers.
We will visit again for sure!

Brand new hotel. Really nice rooms. Nice view. Easy parking. Friendly check-in. Will be my go to hotel in future in the hague.
Wifi is fast! 200mbs.
They even have a dyson hairdryer in the rooms. Amazing.

A nice place to enjoy à la carte dinners with just the two of you or with larger groups.
Food is good, staff is nice though the restaurant can be noisy when there are a lot of guests dining.

Beautiful hotel, fun pool. And most importantly- the chefs took the Challenge of making us vegan dinner when their menu wasn't originally ready for that.
Their improvisations were *really* good, it was way above our expectations!

Booked the Sunday Special for a king size room with breakfast. We ended up getting a corner room on the 6th floor with an amazing view of the Den Haag skyline. The room was fitted with a bubble bath and rain shower and was excellent and really relaxing. Beds are a bit hard and the pillows not the best but it was fine for one night.

The wellness on the 7th floor are one of the best we've experienced so far. Clean and new with an amazing view. Free towels so no need to bring your own (or from the room).

The breakfast buffet was pretty substantial for a Monday with a chef preparing your eggs of choice. Fresh breads and lots of choice. We were blown away by the choice of 7 sorts of juices.

Clean and beautiful room with a luxurious bathroom. Greatly located along the highway, however, this also makes the balcony too loud to enjoy. Very friendly staff. Very nice wellness facilities.

Excellent staff on checking in, and lunch in the restaurant.

Had a drink at the bar in the morning. Staff has trouble spotting you sometimes, which is supposedly a recurring theme. Sitting in a calmer spot means you tend to get overlooked/missed, and staff that are walking back don't always look around so well when heading back. They are kind and friendly however. The location in itself looks good; a big open space with decorations and some larger objects to sort of section it off into smaller areas. Very nicely decorated and the tables are decently spacious.

This hotel is ideally located for easy access of the greater Den Haag area. The pool and spa is extraordinary and wonderful service too.

We went in this place only for the restaurant, to have dinner. It was a very pleasant dinner. The portions are quite big, very tasty and brought with a nice display. The staff is very attentive and the service was very fast also. One thing to really try is the kipsnitel with the mushroom sauce.

The hotel has a great atmosphere for corporate meetings. Good seating, nice commodities in the meeting rooms and good coffee. After the meeting I was attending there was a buffet, with good variety in dishes. A good experience.

Exceptionally good venue for a business event. The only minor issue that I spotted is the A/C of rooms, that was not very fresh, and lack of proper ventilation in bathroom. On the other side eqch bathroom has the shower and bathtub with hydro massaging. And the food is of very high quality.
