Homely Rentals, Apartments The Hague - Expat Housing

Closing a happy, productive year in this perfect expat apartment with appreciation for the team (Monique, Lars and Danilo) at Rhodium real estate, my neighbors here on the Denneweg for all their help with some pretty quirky questions. I’m not sure if I chose the apartment for the location ✅ the sun-filled rooms (yes I know I’m in the Netherlands but sometimes it’s sunny), ✅ the great roof deck, ✅the comfy couch where I wrote my thesis ✅ or appliances better than I have at home ✅ but the best part of all turned out to be the property management team who are simply all purpose problem solvers. I’m grateful for their support & will remember this year with a smile!

We were renting an apartment, and it was a great experience. The apartment itself and the building was well maintained, even though it was a monumental one.
Lars and Monique were always ready to help if we had any questions or requests (and we had a lot of them), so we felt welcomed.

Watch out for these guys, against the law they charge both tenant and landlord for their mediation. If you are a tenant, refuse this fee, it is not allowed by Dutch law.
If you are a landlord looking for a company to rent your property, and do property management, look somewhere else. I used to rent through them, and even though my tenant was paying in time they did not pay me the rent. In the end I had to go through a depth collection agency to get my money. They never paid the full amount, telling me to take them to court as they would not pay, even though they admitted that they owed me the money. They know collection of debt under Dutch law is so difficult they will never have to pay.
They are super nice, but really a bunch of crooks, go somewhere else!
