Heartbreak Hotel

Visited the Heartbreak Hotel on Terschelling and was immediately impressed by its Elvis-themed ambiance and rock and roll spirit. The staff was welcoming, and the menu diverse. I had a customized double hamburger, served uniquely without buns but with an inventive presentation, featuring a ceramic cup filled with salad, topped with the burgers, cheddar, and bacon. It was not only a feast for the eyes but delicious too, with the portion size being excellent. A must-visit for both Rock and Roll fans and anyone looking for a memorable meal experience.

Been coming here for a long time, but this was the first time I tried their burger. Ordered the double and it turned out HUGE! Very tasty.

The ambiance has gone down a bit over the years, it's more like a generic beach restaurant now. I miss the pink Cadillac on the roof.

Nice place to chill after a long walk on the beach or after a nice bike on the island. Good and nice staff. They have a nice and variated food and drink menu. You can also get their easily by bike and car. Free parking for both cars and bikes are available only 5min walk from the dinner.

Food is amazing! Had the little Burning Love Burger with fries and it was more than enough for me. Burger was very tasty. Service was fast and love the atmosphere of the restaurant! Will definitely come back here.

Very nice place for some drinks after a very long walk. I think I had the best bitterballen in my life so far here. I really recommend it!

Staff was nice, food was good and in terms of pricing what you would expect for one of the few beach cafes (~18 euros for a burger with fries). Would recommend!

Very good memories about this place. Spending nice days at the huge beach with the family and closing of the day with a dinner at the heartbreak hotel and a performance of the famous band De Mannen van Hee.

Very nice location and friendly staff. The food was good, there are also some vegetarian and vegan options.

Unique place to relax after a walk on the beach!!

Cool place with quirky interior: American diner style with lots of old radios and even hoovers as decorations. Plenty of seating inside and sheltered tables outside. Probably the best veggie burger I've ever had, from a great selection of American-style and Dutch food and drink items. Definitely worth a visit!

One of the best places I have ever been on a beach. The Elvis Style is amazing. Very good milkshakes en terrific lunches offering. The staff is super friendly and helpful when you can make up your mind on what to eat. We enjoyed the view just before the Fjoertoer. We will go there next time again.

Beautiful 50's style beach pavilion, friendly service and excellent burgers. Great are the evenings with live music. One of my favorite places on Terschelling.

Always a nice experience to come here. They did some renovations and made the place a lot bigger, which is very nice. The ambience is just out of this world. I'm not going to spoil the theme, when you're on Terschelling, you just HAVE to go here. I go there every year around Christmas, and I'm definitely going again :)

Excellent atmosphere! Certainly not something we expected out here. Great food (the burger was excellent!) and a very welcome rest from the elements outside.
