We stayed here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it.
When we arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming and showed us to our room. The room was adorable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the floor was heated. It's a bit of an older room so there weren't many outlets, and no TV, but if you're looking for a get away in the beautiful countryside, the TV won't be missed. The bathroom is minimal but was clean and had all we needed. I even forgot a hair dryer but we able to borrow one from the front desk.
The breakfast was delicious and we were able to take a walk around the water right across the street, saw plenty of wildlife. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, although at least a two night stay would make it easier to take full advantage of everything offered.

Utterly charming establishment. Great place to stop on a walk or bike ride through the picturesque countryside.

Authentic atmosphere, terrace outside very relaxed, great surroundings. Try the apple pie with cream.

Oortjes hekken is at the center of a beautiful place for nature walking and and on top of that a great place to eat and drink. Service is relaxed and friendly. Great experience!
