Must see; must go, must experience

This beautiful castle which was transformed into a hotel, has all the amenities one could dream of; spacious rooms, amazing view to wake up to; the lake, the swans and the vast green.

The staff are super friendly and they are super pet friendly.

As for the gastronomy, the breakfast is a big feast; which takes place at the dinner castle. We also tried the Bistro and the famous (IN DE OUDE WATERMOLEN), which served signature dishes from the region. The experience was unique, would recommend for starters; the deer pastrami and for main courses; the entrecôte beef, grilled and the redfishfillet dish. I don’t recommend the cauliflower starter

Highly recommend and would do it again.
If you are visiting Maastricht, you can stay at this hotel in the quiet oasis of luxury and drive to Maastricht to enjoy an Andre Rieu concert or go to Valkenburg to enjoy wonderful Christmas vibes in this charming town.

I had a great stay in this location. Somewhere in the nowhere it was calm. The room had a propper size and the bed was really comfy. I stayed one night for a business trip, great breakfast and dinner in their restaurant as well as the buffet for lunch. The merting room in the old castle was great as well and we got a great supply of water, coffee and foodies. I can recommend this place and would also stay here privately. 😊

Lovely venue. It is being renovated at the moment. Facilities are great and I initially thought the bed too soft but slept like a baby.

The services and attention to detail was exceptional. Breakfast selection was extensive and everything tasted very good. Very accommodating as we had a person in a wheelchair. Beautiful grounds with a garden and a pond. Chef's menu did not disappoint.

Lovely hotel with lovely facilities and an impressive castle interest point. Got to stay here for 2 nights and enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The dinner was a particularly nice surprise having not read up too much about the place before staying at it. It was a seasonal menu designed by the chef and every dish was incredible, adding on to the experience of the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, the staff is really helpful and, most importantly to us, there was a friendly atmposhere in and around the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed the facilities, such as the swimming pool and sauna. The opening hours of the hotel reception (24 h) and the facilities are really pleasant as well.

The stay was great. Lovely people. The bar and the restaurant were fantastic. I had the 4 courses dinner. It was luxurious and tasteful. It was a wonderful experience.

The pool and sauna are a good place the relax.

The breakfast was delicious and big assortiment.

This was my fourth visit and each time I have been more than happy with the accommodation and service.

We had our wedding take place at Kasteel Vaalsbroek. Guests then stayed in the hotel rooms. Everything was just beyond amazing!!

The location is breathtaking. Great spots for great pictures. The food was absolutely delicious. The rooms were beautiful. And most importantly, the staff was so so so nice!!!! Mirjam was great through this whole wedding process.

Kasteel Vaalsbroek is a definite must as a wedding location!!!

We stayed here for a night, while also enjoying the 3-course dinner, together with our baby. We had a wonderfull time.
The hotel is very nice. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. They even have a babyphone-service, which shows how much attention they pay to making it possible for parents of young children to still enjoy a nice hoteltrip. However, we didn't make use of it, as we have a tablet which we use as a baby-phone, which worked wonderfully over their free wifi throughout the hotel.
The pool and the sauna were nice.
We enjoyed the 3-course evening meal in their restaurant, which I can highly recommend. The waiter was competent and informed us well about the wines. We choose the local wines (from Limburg) and I think it was the best possible choice. I tried some local wines from the region earlier, but these were from a very high standard and they matched the dishes wonderfully. The courses themselves and the in-betweens were made with a lot of love and skill. To keep it short, we can highly recommend it and look forward to coming here again!

What a wonderful place. This is the first time I am staying here but definitely not the last time. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Very clean spa area and a delicious breakfast with a view. The best is, only a 15 minutes drive to RWTH-AACHEN

We loved it! Super amenities, friendly staff, all the great food for brunch. Clean, great location. Easy to rent ebikes e.g to discuss the region. We will come back. Can absolutely recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay! It was all I wanted, calm, peaceful with beautiful nature. They did not offer us a place to stay but a real experience. Well done🥰

Very quiet location near Vaals and 3 km from Aachen. Great spot for walking and bicycle rides. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms, dogs are welcome. Breakfast is excellent.

This place covers many positive aspects: nice walks in an old park with beautiful views, even with rare plants and public art in an interesting historical settings. Possibility to rest in picnic places, or by visit to a pub or even a good restaurant, or to pay a longer visit in the spa hotel, or rent the castle for an exhibition, a meeting, a wedding .... .

Fantastic place, kind service, beautiful wellness area, and tasty breakfast! We will definitely go back again :-)
