The waffles and Stroopwafels were delicious! Very friendly staff who made our items fresh. Samples of stone Stroopwafel flavors are available. There are small museum rooms to visit. Lots of options to choose from.

Awesome experience. We got a nice showcase of how stroopwafels were made back then when they were invented and we learned how to make one. It is absolutely delicious and my gf even got a special stroopwafel as it was her birthday the day we visited. The Volendam village has its own unique beauty and it’s a very enjoyable place to visit too.

If you like waffles and sweets, this is a great shop that you must visit. but I have to warn you. You may want to get lost among the waffle varieties and buy them all. If you come to this village, I recommend you to spend time here.

The food here is delicious, but the staff that was working during my visit was even better! The women were so friendly and lovely, they made my visit there 100 times better and I wanna be their friend.

Beautiful store, friendly staff, many varieties of stroopwafel to buy or even to try. Also, it's an opportunity to get to know the legacy of Mrs. Woltje, how this delicious dutch wafer appeared and become so famous. It's so worth it!

Most everyone visiting the Netherlands hears about the stroopwaffle before they go. I can say this is for good reason. We purchased one here, with chocolate and hazelnuts on it, and it was incredible. We also got to observe a demonstration of making one of these waffles and learned a bit of history in the process. The prices arent cheap as a lot of tourists come to volendam, but it was worth it. Stop in for the demonstration and a free sample if you are hesitant.

This was so much better than I expected. We were the only ones in the waffle demonstration so the kids got to have a go at making a waffle then received a cute certificate as a keepsake. The girl demonstrating was so knowledgeable and friendly. The smell of the shop is divine. Being able to explore the house aswell was brilliant so oldie worldie. A must if visiting.

Stroopwafels here are exceptionally good and the crew is very friendly. Worth visiting

On the Haven street everything is touristic, also this place. We tried banana waffle and they were good, esp with nutella. Not recommend for those who are on a diet!

Not only extremely delicious but also fair prices! Definitely recommended! I have eaten the stroopwafel at the famous van wonderson in Amsterdam and at this place. The winner is the Woltje's Backerij because of the taste and the NORMAL price!!

Nice shop. The wafel demonstration is really cool. I especially liked being able to make my own stroopwafel. This was very special as I was the only one who got to do this out of my group.

A great place to visit. Waffles were wonderful and the lady at the counter was very friendly. If you plan to visit Volendam make sure to go to Woltje’s.

I was on this town because of a tour. People recommended to try the small waffles from a guy on a cart, line was too busy, so i decided to enter in woltje. I try to order the same small wafel thing but since my description was poor, the lady prepared me a normal waffle with white powder. LITERALLY the best waffel i ever eat. Meanwhile i am in germany as tourist trying to find a waffel as good as that one but never found as good and ever since, all waffels are disappointing, compared to Woltje's waffel. Amazing!

Was part of a Volendam & Windmills tour group through lindbergh and bought online via GetYourGuide and I had a great time! There was a demonstration downstairs on how to make a stroopwafel and I was called to the stage to help make one. I got a certificate for helping :-) It was fun and their food is delicious!
