Restaurant J&T Mos

J&T Mos was recommended to me as a place off the beaten path, a place where tourists would not frequent. The recommendation was spot on! I had one of the best pieces of fish I have ever had anywhere in the world. My only complaint would be that the atmosphere seemed a little dim, everything else was top notch. If you ever get here I recommend detour to J&T Mos.

Wonderful restaurant!!! The food here is at the highest level. The oysters are fresh and very tasty. The hot dish, salad and snacks are all very tasty. 10 out of 10!!!

We're glad we found this restaurant by chance while visiting the harbor.
The sea bass cooked in salt crust was really something.
Hats off to the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. We followed their recommendation for the wine and it did complement the fish very well.
The setting is really nice as well. The inside looks like an old tavern and it felt very cozy.

What a fantastic dinner experience we had! I am not a big eater so we shared the Burrata salad (excellent burrata, unlike what we had gotten at an Italian restaurant the night before!). Then my partner had the Entrecôte which he said was incredible and I had the avocado as my main and it was delicious!!! The wine was also excellent as was the lemon pie for dessert. We will definitely be back!!!

Good food, nice staff, good value for money. Try the special Gin & Tonic with dried pear and star anise, quite possibly the best gin cocktail I‘ve ever had.

Our table on the 2nd floor was really worth the effort (we are 81)
Troughout the evening we were helped by a very charming girl.
The food was specteccular and so was the wine.
If you are looking for a perfect evening do not hesitate and go to J&TMOS!!

We had an outstanding 4 course dinner here last night. Every course was beautiful and delicious. The view from 2nd fl window added to the magic. Our server translated everything into English for us, describing the menu with careful detail. One surprise at the end though, they only accept cash.

Gute gehobene Küche.
Wer auf leckeres Essen steht, bereit ist für Qualität auch etwas mehr zu zahlen, ist hier definitiv richtig!

Het eten is altijd heerlijk en de service is ook top! Hele goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. En een fijne ontspannen sfeer.

Heerlijk gegeten met het verassingsmenu. Vooraf wordt gevraagd of er nog bepaalde wensen zijn (met name wat je niet mag of lust) waardoor er altijd iets lekkers geserveerd wordt. Gerechten zijn bijzonder lekker en soms ook echt verrassend. Gezellige sfeer met uitzicht op de haven van Hoorn. De bediening was ook super. Al met al een hele fijne ervaring gehad.

Heerlijk all in vijf gangen arrangement met passende wijnen. Heerlijk verrast met gerechten die niet op de kaart stonden zoals dorade, zwarte pasta met inktvis, geplukte konijnenbout, varkensnek en een sukade afgesloten met een heerlijk desert. Bediening was professioneel met verstand van zaken. Mooie lokatie aan de haven, maar als restaurant van binnen net zo mooi en goed wordt als de gerechten dat wordt het plaatje perfect. De zaak van binnen oogt saai. Hier valt nog wat verbetering te halen.

Een pareltje aan de haven van Hoorn. Leuk wisselend en goed betaalbaar à la carte menu en een spannende wijnkaart. Mooiste is echter je te laten verrassen door de chef en sommelier. Dieetwensen zijn geen enkel probleem en als je ergens op niveau vegetarisch wilt eten moet je hier zijn.

Ondanks de lockdown toch nog een 6 gangen menu (thuis). Complimenten jongens wat hebben jullie dit goed voorbereid. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en ploffen nu op de bank 😉

Echt ontens genoten!
Eten was echt perfect. Bediening had overal verstand van en nam veel rekening met wensen. Was ook erg gastvrij, waardoor we erg veel moesten lachen. Op de maandagavond alleen wat rustiger. Vond ik wel prettig. Voor de rest voor herhaling vatbaar!

Sehr gemütlich, ausgesprochen freundlich und das Essen ist exzellent.
