Italiaans Restaurant La Sfida (Authentic Italian cuisine)

Truly delicious food. I was going to go to an Asian place but they were full. Happened to walk into this Italian place instead. The owner was an extremely kind and enthusiastic Italian man. The food was truly delicioso. I especially loved the bruscetta woth burrata and truffle (special of the day). Because I also ordered the special main dish of the day, the owner put his special apron on me:p.
Do not miss out on this experience! Prices were fair.

Staying in Hoorn for 2 nights and decided to go to La Sfida for Dinner.
We were amazed with the food, all pastas were handmade and the accompanying sauces were delicious! The ambience had a beautiful wibe with rustic furniture. The server was super friendly and suggested some menu items like the meat sauce with Pappardelle which was my favourite...
We ended up buying some Arabiatta sauce & Truffle oil as well from the restaurant to take home!
Do not miss this restaurant if you are in Hoorn...

Yesterday evening went for dinner with my family and family in law to 'La Sfida'. We all "again" were amazed and happily surprised by the true pure Italian flavour of the dishes. We tasted fresh ingredients and a lot of love. This time I chose for the chef's special three courses, "spettacolare!". Besides, the ambiance of the restaurant is well defined and feels like being at home. In short, compliments to the chef and as for us, “highly recommended”.

Super nice place with authentic italian food and atmosphere. Staff was also italian speaking which added to the overall experience. They really bring a part of Italy to Hoorn.
I've been to many places that called themselves "italian" this is actually just that. Prices seem super fair for the amazing quality of the food and staff was extra friendly.
We can't wait to visit again! :)

The best experience of food you can ever get....very delicious 😋.....the owners/chefs are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet.....very authentic Italian cuisine....they are also very versatile as they make food to your meal prioritises....like they have have halal, vegan, vegetarian and many more options and also they have alcohol free drinks.....all in all I would recommend this place everyone that goes to Hoorn it is an amazing restaurant

We (Cok and my wife had a chefs surprise dinner with two of my old colleagues and their wife’s, (W.and M. B.) and (A. A.sS.)
All of us have enjoyed the hospitality, the contact with the Chef and the pleasantly served meal;,
We have enjoyed All courses and two items are worth mentioning separately , At first All of us were impressed by the safrane sauce served with the ravioli - really marvelous-
Secondly the preparation and quality of the meat dish with potato slices, the meat was found of outstanding quality and preparation
We have had a great evening And we would to thank the restaurant team

We had a lovely evening at La Sfida. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious and the service is very good as well. Well worth the price. Highly recommended!
