Nice restaurant located on the red square in beautiful and historic downtown Hoorn. The restaurant is housed inside the oldest building in the town which used to be an old weigh station for market goods. Much of the history has been preserved making it a very interesting environment. Food is fine, standard menu and service is friendly enough. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Very nice restaurant in an old historical building! The food is and drinks are a good price and the historical atmosphere make it a must visit in Hoorn! I saw they also serve a really cheap breakfast till 10:00 in the morning so if your in the area make sure to make use of that ;)

It’s a cozy place situated in a nice historical building. The waiters are friendly and the food is tasty.

Old weight house. Located on prominent location in the centre of Hoorn.
Terrace is west facing, so there is plenty of sunshine.
Good selection of beers and cocktails.
Food is also reasonable.
Service is fast and friendly.
Overall very good experience.
Recommended. :)

A definite must visit in Hoorn. Great food and drinks at the best location possible. Generally the servers are great but it can be slightly understaffed on crowded days. A must try is the schuumkoppe a local beer that they have on draft.
