Kennemer Duincamping De Lakens

When I was a kid I used to go here with my family all the time. Everyone was super nice and everything was very clean and organized. That is all still the case. I’m kind of sad they decided to change some stuff around (for example moving the playground and parking area). The tents are a nice size, there is a lot of space for camper vans, caravans etc.

If you are staying anywhere near, I’d recommend staying here for sure!

Immense wonderful camping immersed in wild nature. Good vibes, beautiful people and fantastic North sea all combined for the best camping experience.

Very nice camping ground. We stayed with our motor home for two nights. It's close to the beach and the sea. The facilities are very clean. The place was spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Going to Haarlem by bike is just 20 minutes away.
We went to Amsterdam in 45 minutes by taking the bus directly in front of the camping ground and the train from Haarlem.
If you have the chance try out the sauna.

We were here for a week in a Laidbackshack. The camping site has a great location inside the dunes, is easily reachable from Amsterdam but still in a natural environment. The facilities are great, the on site Spar supermarket is very easy to reach and well stocked, and washing and drying offered there is also quick and easy (just make sure to follow instructions to the letter). Everyone was very nice and friendly and quick to reply to requests.

The laidbackshack is nicely furnished, the only two things that could be a bit annoying are the heating and the kitchen. When we tried turning on the heating it was smelling of smoke and not really pleasant, fortunately we did not really need it due to outside temperatures getting higher again. The kitchen equipment is very basic, someone intent on cooking a lot might be disappointed (e.g. we were peeling vegetables with the cheese knife since the peeler was used so much that it had become dull). It worked, but we've seen better even in a similar accomodation.

I have come here several times and hope to return soon. It is close to Amsterdam (a bus from Haarlem drops you off right outside the campground) and the camping spots are quiet and located in the dunes, so i’m close proximity to the beach.
I also lost my phone there last time I went but the campground contacted me three months later saying that they found it and sent my phone to my address for me. Thank you, De Lakens!

Really large Camping Ground! Very good infrastructure and a hugh SPAR Market where you can buy everything you can think of. The beach is 1 km away from the end of the camping ground. Very kind staff!!!

Great location directly behind the dunes.
Very quite and clean place.
But also good for kids and family's if you prefer a spot beside your own sandbox or trampoline.
We had a relaxing one with a hammock.
Everything you need is there: restaurant, grocery store, playgrounds, clean showers and toilets,... And also two simple but really nice saunas!

If You have been in busy Amsterdam, this is a great place to relax.

Great camping for appropriate prices. You camp directly in a big dune. As soon as you enter you can smell beach and I felt relaxed immediately since it brought back some nice childhood memories. The staff is friendly. You have crowd mixed of people of all ages which I enjoyed. The store on the area has really moderate prices for it being a holiday area. Normally those are overpriced.
The only downside is the way to the beach. You have to pass a really hughe dune to get there which is quite exhausting. The beach itself is awesome, tho.
I'll be back in summer If I can get a spot here.

You won't find a better camping ground. It's beautiful, clean and family friendly. It's located between the dunes next to the sea and a nature reserve. Very professional and competent staff. The showers are free and and the bathhouses are well maintained. We'll definetly come back!

We booked one of the Backpack-Shacks for three days and were totally happy with it. There was a small fride, a few sockets and a smalll radiator for cold days. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff was very friendly and helped us instantly when there was a problem.
Especially we loved the short distance to the beach and the small hill in the nationalpark which we had to climd to see the beautiful sunset in the evenings. Although the weather was very bad in the first two days, we enjoyed our stay at Camping de Lakens and would definitely recommend it.

Best place on earth. Combines relaxation, joy, fun, nature, friendships, parties in the middle of dunes at a 10 minutes stroll from the Bloemendaal beach.

got good discount with ACSI Card, very friendly Staffel​, nice spots in the dunes, close to the beach, clean WC and showers, lot of playgrounds for kids lots of sand everywhere... 5*..highly recomended

Love all the different places to park your caravan or tent. Nice restaurant and really clean toilets.
